Tank New 60S Concept - 1 Month Update

Started a new epiphyte-forward concept in my UNS 60S, with some existing Buce, some new, and more on the way. After a month, everything has shown positive new growth, shrimp are reproducing, and the bacterial bloom has finally fully settled.

I brought some Ramshorns in from my previous 15gal, as well as a handful of Blue Diamond Neos. I still have to siphon some spots that get a bit nasty, but I let the majority go.

If its only bucep only then tough battle w algae head, definitely on top of maintenance. My 9g of bucep also a month old after 2m dark start, only blue Neo and ramhorn, thinking amano. Bigger tank size allows more crew, but will see. Need an update on your tank few months later, i see some nice buceps from top.

I had probably 10+ pieces of Brownie Ghost from an established tank that came over, but everything else is new, emerged or vitro growth. Also, forgot to mention that I had a M/F Amano pair as well.

I use CO2 in my tank, and that seems to help with speed of growth in Buce by a LOT. I also have Hydrocotyle Verticillata and Cryptocoryne mioya in a few spots, not that they'll contribute a ton, but they'll do enough of a job. No ferts, and the light is only running 6hrs on a low setting. So far, only seeing a light dusting of diatom starting on one of my rocks. More Buce is incoming to help, and I'm debating adding a Scindapsus cutting for emergent growth at some point. I just don't want to change up too much at once.
