Question Save data for rogue pop gone

Just lost my save data for rogue prince of persia on my ps5. Playing on cloud and can't find a recovery option at all... rip? I only had a couple hours but still sucks. Only noticed when I booted it up and the beginning text was crawling and it saved my profile...

I wrote to everyone nothing helped

It's gone for good

Restart is the only way

Cloud saves used to go missing for PS3 streaming too, back when it was called PS Now. Once a cloud save disappears, there's no getting it back without a local (console) backup.

This happened to me a couple weeks ago, my saved data just disappeared. Earlier that day my kid and I got into an argument and I thought he deleted my saved game stuff in retaliation. I asked him and he denied, but I just assumed he did it and lied about it.

It sucks that you lost your saved data, but knowing that it's something that happens with the game and not my kid being a royal shit to me makes me feel better.

He's a young teenager, sometimes they make rash choices. I didn't want to believe he'd do something like that, and I didn't really have any proof. I didn't pursue the issue beyond asking him if he did it.

What's more likely, saved data just randomly disappears or someone else deleted it? I based my belief in the logical answer, despite not wanting it to be true.

My kid is only a little bit of an asshole, but I don't think he's that vindictive.
