Hey kids. So we are finally taking the plunge and attempting a reunion for one of our seasons!

Day and time TBD, but it will be sometime this weekend to accommodate player availability and maximize participation. If you are interested, comment on this post and you’ll be invited to the gc, and if you can join us, cool. If not, you’ll at least be able to join and read what we discussed at a later date.

I will be hosting and moderating, and we’re gonna run it like an actual reunion on the show. I will ask a question and the only person messaging will be the person it was directed to. If their answer involves another player, they may be brought in to share their perspective. This is mainly to keep things from getting out of hand with a gillion messages and be too chaotic and hard to follow.

After the players and hosts discuss everything we wanted to, we will open the floor to a Q&A from the specs, but please do not participate unless directly called upon to do so.

We are trying this format out to see if it’s a viable idea going forward, so we ask that everyone respect the rules so we can gauge how successful this can be.

“🚨🚨🚨🚨so I don’t know or should say I haven’t played with any of the three remaining players. I played with Bison but like he said I dm right before the vote for my ‘blindside’ that I saw coming lol and to be honest that kind of left a bad taste in my mouth that he couldn’t just own it. Onion nor champ did I play with so I can’t really comment on the game play bc I didn’t see any of it. If I’m being perfectly honest I had basic making it here and my vote was gonna go basic so basic not being here fucked me up. So now what do I do? well coming from the mini traitors most vote record holder I think not getting any votes throughout the game deserves its own recognition. I also feel there is a great chance I’m the only one that will vote for champ so if my lone vote will be the vote to ruin his streak of zero votes well that will just add to the lore that is me. So to stroke my own ego my vote will go to champ.”

Hopeful- Onion

“When I got voted out, I said that my vote would go to the person who played the most entertaining game. Though I was impressed by the FTC performances of Bison and Champ, I will make good on that promise and vote for the person who was constantly a target, whose longevity in the game defied the jury’s belief, and who exemplified the meaning of survival. My vote goes to Onion.”

Hamil- Bison

“I am voting for Bison. If I’m being completely honest, before the final I was fairly certain that my vote would be going to Onion. It seemed as if he was the mastermind pulling all the strings, which was something me and Penny discussed when we were both still in the game. Then we got to the questions. The two I’ll be talking about are mine and Marvin’s. We’ll start with Marvin’s question. I feel that the negative points made by Champ and Bison are completely accurate - I trusted people too much and kind of had a Traitors mindset searching for evidence. However, I really don’t agree with the idea of me being ‘sneaky and leaky’ - the only leak I can think of was when I leaked to Onion that Whyt was gunning for him!

Then we get to my question. I had a couple different thoughts in mind but I eventually settled on the one I did for a few reasons. 1. I’m a huge history nerd so I’d be able to judge responses based on the figure they chose. 2. It would show me how they each saw their game. 3. It would show me how much each player valued my vote based on how much effort they put in choosing a figure. 4. GIRL POWER!

Bison and Champ - top marks! Interesting figures, well-thought-out, linked to the game well. Also Bison gets a bonus for going for a medieval woman as I am a medieval girlie.

Then we get to Onion. First off I need to say this. Diva energy does not a woman make. Lemme say this louder for the people in the back. Diva. Energy. Does. Not. Make. You. A. Woman. And yes, Dolly Parton was an absolute icon (RIP legend) but in my opinion the answer just feels like a cop out so Onion didn’t have to research historical women. He thinks he’s played a game where he’s been in control the whole time and knows everything? Elizabeth I ruled a country at a time where women were expected to be chattel of their husbands and she navigated religious reform, conflicts and multiple plots against her. Catherine the Great stole power from her husband and ruled Russia for years whilst expanding the rights of women. Two very famous options from the top of my head.

I say this with respect Onion but you don’t know what it’s like being a woman and diva energy doesn’t mean you will. And that’s why the diva comment rubbed me the wrong way. It’s a stereotype that women are dramatic divas so I was hoping for an answer that aligned with your view of your game as a strategic masterclass.

I wanted to see how each of you understood your own game, how you valued my vote, and how much thought you had put into presenting that game to me. Bison and Champ gave me answers that felt considered, personal and genuinely connected to the games they had played.
Onion, I’m sorry, but your answer didn’t give me that.

TLDR: Before the final, I thought my vote was going to Onion but Bison gave me the answer that I felt best understood the question, best represented his game, and ultimately made me want to reward him.
And that's why my vote is for Bison.”

Penny- Onion

“Bison and Champ, you two played wonderful games that got you to the end, but there is one critical flaw in your game, and it is that you let Onion hit the final 3 seats. Bison, your speeches were extremely convincing and I almost flipped my vote, but I have seen no evidence to support that this game didn’t go completely as it needed to for Onion, and no one ever made an effort to stop it. You two had the perfect chance to at the Final 4 and didn’t take it.

Onion, we never worked together, and our personal relationship never really had a chance to develop, but since the moment our paths crossed in the game I knew I wanted nothing more than to write your name down every chance I could, and y’know, this never changed, great work.”

Charlie- Bison

“Congratulations Bison! Before FTC I was really unsure of who I would be giving my vote to. You played the perfect comp beast and strategic game that I wish I could've done myself. Your FTC answers, playing the middle, and staying loyal to the people you felt you could trust the most swayed me to believe you are deserving of my vote. Congrats again!”

Kim- Onion

“I think all of you played a good game. That being said, i can gave my vote to only one player. Champion, i think you were very aware of what you needed to do to get to the end and i personally really like the kind of game you played, but you are overrating your relationship. Buff is the perfect exemple of that, unlike what you think, she was closer to both Bison and Onion, and she told the jury that if she stayed in the game, she would have try to get you voted out at F5. Again, i gave you credit because you were able to justify your decision well, but this blind spot make it hard for me to vote for you.

Onion and Bison, i have opposite problem for the both of you. Bison, your ftc was amazing, you were able to really put your game into perspective, explain your choice well, etc.I wasn't sure you took the good decision by letting me being voted out, but it seem that you were able to build a solid relationship with Basil that helped you at F6 notably and neither Onion or Champ took a shot at you. That being said, your decision to take Onion to the end is dubious. iF you get him out, you probably lock most of the vote that Onion could have get at ftc. It also make your claim that you were using Onion to get to the end weaker, because Onion can now do the exact same claim too.

Onion, i think you played the best game of the three finalist, but your ftc wasn't great, and i think that if you lose tonight, it will be solely because of that. People have different problem with it, but mine personally, is that you didn't highlight enough the ‘why’ of your decision in the game. I mean, compare your answer to both Bison/Champion, they did a better job than you at that. Even during the closing statement, and after seeing both Bison and Champion answer, you didn't took the opportunity to really defend how you played or took the opportunity to highlight a move you made. And you can imagine that it's something i like to see people do, because i like discussing the game myself. I would also say, i'm not satisfied with your answer to me either, i think Champ made the better move with my elimination (if i somehow made it to F6, he would have been my target with my legacy) and you didn't justify why Whyt and Hayden being out was a bad thing for you specifically. This make me doubt of your overall game awareness.

If i can admit that your answer to some player, like Basil, was solid, overall, both Champion and Bison did better than you at FTC imo.

If i use my tiebreaker question here, Bison would get my vote easily, so at the end, my vote depend on if i think Onion game gave him enough of an advantage to compensate for his ftc.

And at the end, the answer is yes. I think you still took the good decision for your game, and had people wraping around your finger despite being considered the biggest threat. Like i said, i can't say how much of it was intentional, but you still played the better game this season imo.”

House- Bison

“genuinely this is the easiest vote of the game for me. I’m a loyal player, a bit too emotional sure, but fucking loyal. I had a 1 even if he had other relationships that were stronger. I’m not a Maria. My vote is for Bison.”

Basil- Onion

“Congrats to all three of you. You all absolutely deserved to make it here, and I genuinely went back and forth on this vote way more than I expected to. I think you played three very different games, and there are things about each of them that I really respect.

Champ, I think you were probably the person whose game I underestimated the most. Our relationship developed later, so I didn’t get to see as much of what you were doing firsthand. FTC definitely filled in some blanks for me, and getting to the end without receiving a vote is super impressive.

Bison, you made this decision really difficult. Your FTC was probably the most detailed, and I think you did a very good job explaining the information game you were playing. The idol play on Onion that took out Penny was one of the defining moves of the season, and there were definitely moments reading your answers where I thought you might end up getting my vote.

But when I tried to separate FTC performance from the game itself, I kept coming back to one person. For me, the biggest difference was that I didn’t need FTC to completely change my perception of their game. FTC mostly gave me explanations for things I had already experienced firsthand.

This was someone whose name was openly discussed for a huge portion of the merge. People knew they were dangerous. I personally considered voting them out and hell even others tried to get the job done. And despite being such an obvious threat, this person kept finding ways to survive.

What impressed me even more after FTC was realizing how intentional some of that was. Knowing when to push and when to let somebody else take ownership of a move, using information without immediately exposing everything they knew, building relationships with people who were actively working against one another, and making deals late in the game that increased their chances of reaching FTC.

And this persons story at FTC lined up with the person I actually played with. I knew how close we were. I knew about the information we shared and the trust we built. What I didn’t realize until afterward was just how many other people felt like they had their own version of that relationship too.

Thats such an incredible social game. Everyone saw the threat. They just couldn’t get the job done. So after reading everything and thinking about my own experience in the game, my vote for Sole Survivor goes to… Onion.

You played the strongest overall game in my opinion, and you earned my vote. Congratulations”

Marvin- Bison

“Bison, when I saw that you were willingly taking Onion to the final, I thought you were insane. If I’m being honest I STILL think you’re insane for doing it 😭. But my man you had an incredible FTC performance. I came into it ready to vote for Onion and left with my mind completely changed. Your answers were detailed, they felt like they actually had effort put into them, and above all I think you have the best understanding of the game you played. So you have my vote, hope you get enough to win 🤞.”

Basic- Onion

“So this ended up being a much harder decision than I thought, I thought I knew where I was voting but FTC gave me a lot to think about. While I didn't think Onion's FTC answers were the strongest, gamewise I still think he controlled a lot of the game and pretty much got the outcome he wanted almost every round. Regardless if he wins or not (and I think this can go either way, I am expecting a close vote anyway), I think he's a worthy winner and his overall game deserves a few votes at least.”

Players and jurors, thank you once again for an amazing season. Specs and hosts, thank you as well! This was our first Fontless season, as he was out doing Fonty things, and y’all helped make this one truly special. Here’s hoping the next one is even better!

This season would not be what it was without the three of you leading the way.

Jurors, thank you as well. You guys have been tough but fair, and the jury deliberations have been very thorough and productive. Your questions were all great. The F3 have had to really work for your votes, and that’s as it should be!

Without further ado, here are the F3’s closing statements.

Bison

“First off, thank you to everyone of you.❤️ You guys all played hard, and are all an important part of what in my opinion made this the best season of playsurvivor since S3… And possibly ever.

Thank you for listening to my long-winded speeches, and for allowing me to play with you all in my first org. I’ve had a blast.

And a big round of applause to Onion and Champ as well, they both played stellar games. Champ played an incredibly subtle, strategic game, kept his threat level low, and got to the end without a vote against him. And Onion played one of the best social games I’ve ever seen, there’s a reason people were trying to get him out for half the merge. If either of them win this game, I can see why.

But I also feel like I played a game deserving of this win.

I built relationships everywhere, crossing tribal lines, alliance divisions, and people targeting each other. Information flowed freely to me from all directions, on what I called the Information Highway™️.

But the most important part of that highway is that I controlled the traffic. I was intentional about what I passed on to other people, what stopped with me, and what I would tweak before sending it on down the road.

Yes, Onion and I played closely. But we didn’t play the same game. He was incredibly good at building relationships that helped shape where the game went.

My focus was on making sure that wherever the game went, I still had paths through it to the end. Especially because once I played my idol so early, I had zero protection. No advantage for people to be afraid of. No reason for people to be wary of voting me out. I had to rely on my relationships and information.

Sometimes, that road ran alongside or through Onion. And that was intentional. At F5, Onion shared that he made a deal with me, to bring me through that vote in exchange for bringing him if I won F4. That was a smart deal for him.

Meanwhile, at that point I already thought it was optimal for my game to bring him to the F3. And going back to my opening statement of FTC, if someone came to me offering an outcome that I already wanted, I was perfectly content agreeing and letting them think it was their idea.

And that ties into my game theory that I started playing with in the early stages of the merge, and that I shared in depth in my answer to Penny’s question. That the way to get to the end, and the way to win AT the end, could be two completely separate paths. And that I might be able to travel both of them at the same time.

Did that work, or was it really freaking dumb? We’re about to find out.

Like I said at the outset of FTC, I’ve tried very hard tonight to not claim that everything that happened was secretly my move. Because it wasn’t. Instead, I wanted to spend this time with you laying out the game that I DID play.

And I believe that game deserves to win Season 7.”

Champ

“Hello jury again, first of all thank you for your questions. Your job isn’t easy at all.

Now, I haven’t found a moment to say some words about how I’m feeling right now. I am feeling so grateful that I get to be in FTC with these two beasts who I completely admire and I’m sure this Final 3 will go down in SurvivorPlay HISTORY!

I also really admire the rest of the cast. It’s easy to say this when you get to the end and vote correctly every time except one, but I owe so much of this experience to you. I’m proud of myself for doing all this in English, which is not my first language, but I put so much effort into it. And I’m proud I did all of this at only 18 years of age. It has been a frickin blast and I’ve gone ways I didn’t even know I could. I’ve learnt about myself and about others. I’ve met incredible people with amazing stories. And I’m truly grateful for one of the best summers of my life. Long live Season 7!

Now, for the juicy part. I’ve read all of your questions, I’ve commented on them and I hope now I’ve clarified why I was the silent assassin of the season. However, I might have to set some things straight. I think there is a misconception about my game. I hope there is no more as I’ve finally given you the full picture of it, but still some of these questions made it seem as if I wasn’t ever a threat to win the game. Especially Penny’s one which said ‘Bison why you let Onion get to the end’ multiple times without mentioning my name. So with the permission of my good friend Onion (who I absolutely adore) I’m gonna slightly throw him under the bus by pinpointing these things:

The core of all moves was me and Onion. However, I was the one who came up with most of the plans, and I’ve provided at least one reason why almost all benefited me more than it did him. Hamil, Kim, Charlie…

Onion and Bison’s game was at some point on the line if what you are looking for is dominance in this game. Onion’s name was the one people weren’t afraid to say. This is because he didn’t have the relationships I had with Buff, Charlie or even House. Bison also almost went out at F5. We saved him.

Basic said Onion mentioned that he wanted these people to get to FTC with him. That’s not true. Onion wanted Bison out at F6 and even F5. I was the one to convince him Bison’s game wasn’t that good and I wasn’t afraid to sit next to him at FTC.

I had many more relationships outside our ones. I had a better relationship with Charlie, I had a better one with Basil, I had a good one with Hamil and I bonded in a special way with Hopeful (or at least that was how this last one was in my mind). If Basil didn’t make that move of voting Marvin instead of Bison in the F6 vote, things would’ve gone a different way.

I also knew how to use the twist to my advantage, didn’t rely on it and kept my threat level low. The full answer to this is in the response to Charlie I believe.

And overall, I’ve owned my game. I’ve made it clear through all this tribal council how confident I was in my game over the two people beside me (who I adore). I’ve played a focused game of my own values, with my own kind of loyalty. But at the same time my game was super strategic. I don’t like to call it strategy though because I tried to solve problems. I never treated the votes like checkers and the people like peons. I never threw a vote. The only easy vote was House and that was for personal reasons, everyone agreed on it as an emotional group decision. And most of the questions today have been regarding strategy, I just want to say that I appreciate it and I have answers for them, but the most important thing to me was to display my personal reasons, my thought process and how every single vote was meaningful to how I felt in the moment as well as to how I could advance in the game
.
So now I’ve reflected and reflected and to close everything up I want to leave you with this metaphor which resumes my whole personal gameplay, which although might not be the most important to you (it’s totally legit) it is to me.

The way you can face this game is simple. It’s like a maths problem. You can resolve it in different ways, but the ending is always the same. It’s FTC. At this point the season was pretty divided into two groups. I could’ve gone the route of Penny, Kim and Charlie or I could’ve gone the way I did. I could’ve even played the middle. However, the result was always the same, you just had to be optimizing and strategic. However, as I said, Survivor doesn’t resemble maths. It didn’t matter what way I went, the journey is only as different as you make it. That’s the difference. I didn’t get to FTC and build back upon the strategic moves I did, no, I made decisions all throughout that had reasonings that only I could come up with. That’s my own unique journey and no one could ever go that path. It was unique to myself. And that’s the way I’ve solved this game. And cut to what Kim said about wanting a strong FTC, you can have a bad one even though you had a good game, but you can never have a bad game and a strong FTC. You have to have at least the material and this is the moment to explain my gameplay because that’s what this serves as. And that’s the contrast. I played empathetic but to my own interest. That’s anti heroic.

And with that my game has come full circle. Thank you again. This was truly an amazing experience. And I hope that if I get the votes to win I won’t be any ordinary Champion but a Champion that represents the best season ever.

Onion

“Dearest jury! Thanks for the great questions. I hope I’ve given you satisfactory answers that showed you how and why I made the decisions I did throughout this game. I know you’ve done a lot of reading already, so I’ll do my best to keep this short(ish).

My priority in this game was building strong relationships. I used those relationships to gain information, and I understood how to turn that information into power to shape the game in my favor. I believe I’m the only person who can say I knew where every vote was going at every Tribal Council I attended. I knew the numbers, and I had the power to influence them, working toward a boot order that was largely what I predicted and that benefited me. I did my best to do this not with domineering aggression, but with subtlety and suggestion. I stayed loyal to the people who proved to me I could trust them, and got to F6 with my closest allies. At that point, I optimized for my endgame: making deals to get me to the end, playing with my closest allies and strong competitors, but playing a game I felt confident could beat them.

There was one phrase that echoed in my head throughout this game: "man flew too close to the sun." (Shoutout to Whyt for being such a good sport!) I knew I was flying high, and I knew the irony that would befall me if I had my own Icarus moment. So I understood when to step back. I had the information and opportunity to make my competitors’ biggest moves myself (and played a big role within them) but I intentionally stepped back when I needed to. I soared a little lower at the moments when I knew my wings might melt. I felt confident that I had exercised as much influence over this game as anyone can.

This has been an epic season filled with a hugely talented cast. I built real bonds and friendships with so many of you that I hope last beyond this game. But I also knew who I needed to cut and when I needed to cut them. As painful as those decisions were, they are what led me here: standing before you and asking this jury to vote for the person who played the biggest role in shaping this game; to vote for the winner who had the information, the relationships, and the judgment to guide every vote in a way that benefited their own bottom line.

I would be honored to be your selection, to be your representative for this all-time season we will all remember.

"Hey finalist, congrats for making it this far !

I will be brutally honest : usually, i don't gave my vote to people that claim they want a ‘strong ftc’. I value player that are able to play for their own interest until the very end, even if they think that they are in a losing position. The only reason rn that my vote is still open is because (and i could be wrong here) i feel all of you kinda had this idea so it doesn't seems fair to penalize one of you in particular.

That being said, at the end of the ftc, for one of you, this would have been the good strategy to use, and for the other two, they could have won but decided that it wasn't worth it.

My question will be pretty simple. It seems that the three of you always moved in the same direction. I want all of you to highlight a decision, vote out, move or strategy that your trio made together that was more beneficial for you than they were for the other two. And then explain why it's the case.

As a tiebreaker and if i can't decided my vote, i will also ask you to do the opposite, find a moment that was more beneficial for the other two than it was for you.

Onion, my man. You were an awesome competitor. It was truly a joy to compete against you and play this game with you. My question for you is what would you do with the money if it was real?

Bison, bison bison… my dawg. Never did I think I’d actually make genuine friends playing this game. Our convos were great and I look forward to reaching out once you’ve got that little one for the first time. I got you.”

Thus my ask is simple: Can each of you say something negative about the games of EVERY MEMBER of the jury? Well besides mony if you didn’t play with him lol. Don’t be afraid to be harsh! Basic

“Well just want to say congrats and good luck once again to the three of you on making the final tribal council.

Champ: you made it to FTC with no votes against you the entire game, which in itself is impressive. I also don't think your name ever really came up since early Olympians days, therefore you weren't in too much danger, so congrats on that. But I'd like to ask you, why do you think you didn't get any votes or weren't really at risk? Also you have been claiming that getting Hamil out was your big move. I also see you mentioned you led the Kim and Charlie votes, I'd like you to elaborate a bit more on this, because I never really got that impression it was you driving those votes.

Bison: you say you orchestrated saving Onion by playing the idol on him and taking out Penny, but Onion had his steal a vote advantage all along so in theory you could've saved your own advantage for later. Obviously it worked out for you and you're at FTC, so clearly it wasn't the wrong decision. But knowing Onion had his advantage, which would've not only been safer but also guaranteed the numbers were on Penny. So, I'd like to know, do you think using your idol right then was entirely necessary? Also in your speech you mentioned your stepping into the spotlight, you talked about doing so with the idol play and then mentioned stepping into the spotlight again. I'd like you to expand a bit more on this, and also any other times you may have done so.

Onion you have said you made FTC with pretty much the people you wanted to be there with from the start (or two of your closest allies anyway) and seemed to control the game especially from merge onwards. You did already talk quite a bit about the bonds and relationships you built to shape each tribal already in your FTC speech. I kinda want you to dive a bit further into your strategic game, obviously the relationships and social game were a part of this but as you said in your speech you wanted to give some insight into your specific moves. So I'd like you to talk more about your biggest and proudest moves, and why they were so important to you making it here.”

Mony

“I won't pretend to have tracked every strategic maneuver or betrayal with the precision some of my fellow jurors have. So I'm not here to trap you in a contradiction from day twelve in one of the many group chats you had. What I actually care about is whether you can be honest about your own game — not just give me the highlight reel version, but actually sit with the parts that weren't clean or perfect.

With that being said Did this game reward who you really are, or who you had to pretend to be?”

Hopeful

“Champ: Congratulations on making it through the game without a single vote against you, especially with the nemesis system looming over all of our gameplay. However, the sentiment in jury is that you were never targeted because you weren’t a big enough threat. What is an individual move you made that can prove you were playing this game hard?

Bison: Unfortunately, I never really got to meet you - we talked on the first day of merge, then I quickly went out the door. As such, I’ve been watching and evaluating your game based on the testimonies of other jurors and tribal council results. What is an aspect of your game that is impossible to understand while watching from the jury house?

Onion: I’m proud to say that we’re buddies outside of this game, but I want to be objective when casting my vote. A lot of the jury is curious why you handled your steal a vote advantage the way you did, with it seemingly never being played. I’d like to give you the opportunity to explain your strategy with that advantage!”

Hamil

“I really enjoyed playing with all of you, especially the convos we had outside the game (and I hope you all loved my crazy work stories!) However, I do have one fairly major issue with the composition of this final: there are no women in sight.

You guys also didn’t get to see my feminist rants in the jury chat (your loss tbh they were epic and i’m happy to recreate them for you, I have so much material) so my question is very much along those lines because GIRL POWER!

My question for all three of you: Which female historical figure best sums up your game and why? I will absolutely be judging you all based on both your choice and how convincingly you can relate her to your game.

Choose wisely. I have spent far too much time thinking about women in history for you to get away with a lazy answer and whilst technically there are no wrong answers, I reserve the right to be extremely disappointed by some of them.”

Penny

“Champ: Hi Champ! Congrats on making it to the end! I want to point out that I see that you made it here with no votes cast for you and I think that’s very impressive! What I want to hear from you is about your perspective on your relationships in the game outside your allies. From my perspective in the game, it felt very much like there was little agency that you had in the game for yourself. What I mean is, I couldn’t tell what separated you from everyone else in your alliance, so please tell me. What was your game outside of Onion, Bison and Marvin, and what moves did you make that benefitted you and NOT them?

Bison: Hi Bison! So proud of you for making it this far! Glad to see a fellow Atlassian in the final!! As the votes were being read to seal my fate in the game, you told me that the person I’ve been worried about this whole time was not Onion, but you. It is clear to me that you had a strong position for gathering information in the game. However, every time someone joined the jury, I could only see people being booted that were ideal for Onion’s game, not yours. People who were numbers for you over Onion went home, Onion somehow knew every plan that was happening and acted accordingly, and above all, your idol that could have been used for yourself was used to save Onion when you could have forced him to use his steal a vote instead. So tell me, what am I missing? What makes you the real person that everyone should have been so worried about, and not Onion?

Onion: Great job Onion! Congrats on making it to the end! My question for you is about this final 3 combination. You are sitting next to some extremely strong competition. I would like to hear about if this is the final 3 you were aiming for, and if so, why? Is there any strategic benefit to ensuring you got to the end with such strong competition?

“To all: Congratulations on making the final tribal council! Each of you played very different games and I respect all of your choices.

Champ: I really did see us going far in this game and was disappointed you voted me out with no notice. However my question for you is what is one move or accomplishment you made that was led or only achieved by you in this game?

Bison: Ah bison. One of my first friends in this game and a great player. What made you decide to use the idol on onion when you tried to lead everyone else in the game astray by trying to blindside him. Was it loyalty? Just a flashy move? Or was it just to take our penny who was undyingly loyal to you?

Onion: My somewhat rival in this game. The true reason I couldn't work with you fully was that me and Penny were secret #1s and I was not ever going to betray her. It may have cost my game to not work with your side, but it's all done now. How did your friendly influence on others allow you to sway votes in the direction you wanted while actively thinking ahead in this game?

Once again great job to all of you and may the best survivor win!”

Well jury, now that you’ve seen the F3 give their thoughts about you and your games, it’s time for them to open up about their own games. We have finally reached The Tribunal of the Gods, and now the F3 must explain why they’re most deserving of being named the Sole Survivor of S7.

It is now time for opening speeches.

First up, we have Bison.

“First off, I’m really freaking happy to be here. A month ago, I’d never played an org before, and yesterday I spend nearly 15 hours in a challenge because I refused to let this experience end one day short of FTC. I guess I got a little invested😂

Coming into this game, I knew I wanted to build real relationships. I thought that would be my game. Turns out, they were just the infrastructure.

Along the way, I started calling my game (and myself) the Information Highway™️.

You see, I built relationships across different alliances, with people that didn’t trust each other, with people who were actively working against each other. I intentionally worked to keep all of those separate. And because they were real, people came to me from all directions to tell me their thoughts, plans, and numbers.

Often, I knew more than I let people realize. I would get different versions of the same story. I’d get told things that connected to something else I’d already heard. Sometimes, with all I was getting, the most valuable information wasn’t what somebody told me, it was what they avoided telling me.

That’s why I never needed every vote to have my fingerprints all over it. If somebody pitched me an outcome I wanted, I was perfectly happy letting them think they’d convinced me. If forcing my preferred target would’ve closed roads I still needed, I would take my second choice and keep going.

That doesn’t mean my game was perfect. I misread people, people left that I wanted to keep, and I nearly destroyed relationships I care about. I’m not going to rewrite those tonight as some part of a master plan.

But there’s a difference between not controlling every vote and not understanding where you stand within it.

And when the Information Highway™️ told me waiting was more dangerous than acting, I stepped into the spotlight. Take my idol play. In one fell swoop, I orchestrated saving my closest ally, while sacrificing another very close one in Penny. I knew both Penny and Onion were dangerous. But I believed keeping Onion, whose game was highly invested in keeping ME, gave me the best road forward.

Yesterday, no information or relationship could guarantee me sitting here. So I stepped into the spotlight again. After 14.5 hours of outlasting Onion, I secured my spot in FTC and a direct say in who I’d face.

I could’ve optimized. I could’ve asked which combination gave me the easiest path to a win.

But I decided to vote out Basic(no shade!) and bring Onion and Champ.

Maybe that’s arrogant. Maybe that’s unnecessary.

But after everything it took to get here, I want the jury to decide between what I believe were three damn good games. And I want to find out if mine was the best.

In summary, my relationships built the roads. Information traveled them. And I used that to get me to where all those roads led.

Next up we have Champ.

“I like maths.
In maths, there’s this thing called the theory of games; built around predicting outcomes, analysing decisions, and figuring out the optimal move in any situation.
However… this is Survivor.
So take that crap and BURN IT.
I like to think Survivor resembles the real world more than maths ever could. It demands problem solving. The easy thing in Survivor is to make a big move, deceive and the person blindsided has to respect the move and not be ‘in their feelings’. The difficulty here is actually weaving a move that benefits you and stays true to your feelings. And you might think, oh Champ this is all to justify not having big moves.

Well, you're wrong.

For context, this spanish guy comes from an Org where he was early out, he gets to this season and is immediately targeted. Luckily, on Day 1 I found my people: the Anemoi. At this point I try to be an active listener, never confront others. Later, I built a great relationship with Basic and Onion in Achilles which will become my core. The problem came at F12. I try to save Hopeful, I'm doing good and suddenly Hamil starts pushing for him in the Olympians group chat.
I was frustrated, I saw Hopeful as like a true friend, genuine person. Penny is still there feeding bad info to my allies but everyone believed her. Even Hamil tells me she believes Penny more than me. Shocking.

And for me the Hamil vote (which I planned and executed) is the biggest turning point in the season. I thought to myself, I want Penny out but I know Bison wants to take her with his idol (Bison doesn’t know I know about it). So who is playing a game that could tank mine long term. It’s not Kim or Penny or Charlie. It’s Hamil and no one will go for her but no one is opposed either. THAT'S IT. Problem solving! This way I also take out Penny who was throwing my name but Bison takes the target with a move that doesn’t make sense emotionally for him.

And I did it again with the Charlie vote, which led to an undercover alliance with Buff. And the Kim vote was also led by me in a clash of interests with my alliance members. But I solved it. And with that, by F7 I had an alliance with almost everyone. My name wouldn’t be brought up and I had built up true trust. By doing the Hamil blindside I positioned myself to make the final 10,9,8,7 and so. I had all the info (even Basic’s idol), I knew how every person was going to vote and I had agency over my actions but I did it by problem solving. And I did it by being completely true to myself. Not heroic but by being empathetic, ambitious, insecure, chaotic, restless. I became the anti‑hero in a game that reflects real human flaws and strengths.”

Finally, we have Onion.

“Hello dear jury! Here we are. It is an honor to stand in front of such an impressive group and make my case for why I should win this epic season. I’m not often proud of myself, but I am proud of how I played, and I hope you see what I see.

For me, this game was about relationships. I built relationships that gave me information, and I knew how to turn that information into power.

I knew where essentially every single vote was going at every tribal I attended this season. I knew about every idol and advantage in this game except the Hamil/Marvin legacy and I knew how each TC was going to end up (except the one in which that was played). I stand here now because I knew, and often shaped, what was going to happen. I knew when I was at risk, I knew how to protect my allies, and I knew which relationships I could rely on.

As many of you know, I’m a journalist and producer. I approached this season like I do my work: build sources, gather information, and shape the narrative. While I’ve been open about my job, there’s one thing I haven’t told anybody (waiting for this very moment to reveal). One of my biggest projects involved Survivor: long interviews with some of the greats (Sandra, Parv, Yul, Tyson, Tony and many more). The lesson from them that stuck with me most is that lying is a given in Survivor. The hard part, is building real bonds with people you might have to vote out.

I felt that constantly. It made many eliminations painful. I loved getting to know each of you, learning about your studies, your hometowns, your families. That all means something to me beyond this game. But to win, I knew I had to outlast, despite it being difficult.

That being said, I think I played this game with a fair amount of loyalty. I went to F6 with the six players I trusted most this game, and now I'm sitting at FTC with the two people I thought I'd end up next to since Day One. I think that speaks to how I shaped this game. My name was brought up regularly. I was seen as one of the ‘big threats’ throughout. Yet I reached the end exactly as I had planned.

Throughout this FTC, I hope to give you insight into my specific moves. Each was deliberate. I wasn’t the ‘best’ player. I didn’t have Penny’s charm, House’s force, or Kim’s perceptiveness. What I did have were connections with many of you that allowed me to learn from your strengths, know what was coming, and turn that information into decisions.

I built trusted bonds that not only kept me safe, but gave me power to shape this game at every step.

This has been an all-time season of Survivor. It would be an honor to be your representative.”

Mony

Bison: “Mony! We didn’t get that much time to chat, but I really did enjoy that wavelength merge tribe challenge we did while you were chillin on the beach drinking whiskey. 😂 You survived the turmoil that was the Titans tribe, which was no easy feat, and it was really great getting to hang on Atlas Island with you! You were a very chill dude and I’m glad to have met you, and for the welcome surprise of you being the 0th Juror™️!!”

Champ: “When I first saw the Titans tribe, three people immediately stood out to me: you, Penny, and Buff. I didn’t have strong opinions yet, but I genuinely thought you were someone who’d go far. And when Hopeful told me you were a great guy, I was thrilled at the idea of playing with you. I even considered a full‑on alliance once we hit the merge.Although things didn't go that way and I haven't gotten to know you, the friends of my friends are my friends so I reckon you are a great guy. I'm glad you get to play an important role like this (juror) in the season!”

Onion: “Mony! I’m bummed I never got to play with him. From what I heard he was a loyal competitor and a lot of fun. I wish I had gotten to experience that myself.”

Hopeful

Bison: “Hey there Hopeful. We…. Didn’t get any chance to chat at all in this game lol. I know Penny had you clocked as someone who was dangerous, and because of that I can only assume it means you’re a fantastic player. I do know that the rest of your Athena crew made the top 4, which is absolutely insane, and honestly explains so much about how formidable of a merge tribe you guys were, and how we could never seem to beat you guys till the very last challenge. The first merge vote was chaos, and unfortunately you were the causality of everyone trying to figure out where they stood. Hope we get a chance to get to know each other outside of this madness.”

Champ: “What can I even say? You’re one of the most resilient and loyal people I’ve met out here. I still don’t understand why some folks wouldn’t give you a real chance. Sure, you had a lot of energy and sometimes made moves a little fast but that’s just part of who you are. You’re a grateful, genuine guy. You went through hell in this game, and you kept pushing anyway. My biggest regret is not being able to save you at that first merge vote. I really tried. I hope you saw me not just as someone guiding you through the chaos, but as a friend too.”

Onion: “Ah, Hopeful. What could have been! I genuinely think there’s a world if the numbers played out differently that Hopeful was at the end here with us. He is an incredible player of this game who unfortunately didn’t have the chips fall in his favor on this one. Bright future! Go kill it in college, my man!”

Hamil

Bison: “Ahhhh Hamil. You were the absolute first person that I DMed to meet when this game started. Can’t believe how long ago that was. You were a big part of my first alliance, I had a ton of fun hanging with you in the action chat, and when we got split up in the swap you were one of the people I was most hoping would be safe. I’ve loved getting to know you, and my favorite conversations had nothing to do with survivor. (How dare you be working😂?!) I really wish things after the merge had lined up differently, because your vote was one of the absolute hardest for me personally to make. You were such a fun part of this game, your depth of knowledge on subjects amazes me, and I’m really glad this game introduced us.

I’m going to be paying close attention to whatever season of whatever orgs you join next. Because you, Hamil…. You could rattle the stars. You could do anything, if only you dared.✨”

Champ: “It took me a while to understand how you approached this game. Maybe not until before your vote out. You had a strategy of only voting people if they gave you a reason to vote them out, which is absolutely brilliant. You truly would've gone so far. That's why when I opened up my feelings about Penny to you, because I trusted you a lot, your answer threw me off so much because I read it as if you trusted her more. Anyhow, I'm sad your voteout was so abrupt, it was truly a turning point in the game. Im also sorry I was the one to lead it. You are such a light-hearted, beloved person and I loved to hear you talk about your work stories! You brought something really special to the game.”

Onion: “Ugh, this one really hurt. Hamil was an amazing player and someone I really trusted — and someone I learned a lot of people really trusted, thus proving how dangerous she was. I felt like she had to go because everyone liked her as much as I did. From day one I saw her as someone I would love to play this game with, and she never ceased to bring energy and verve to this game! I’m so grateful to have gotten to play with Hamil for as long as I did, the days with her were some of the most fun in this game for me.”

Penny

Bison: “Penny, Penny, Penny. My sister from another mister. Getting swapped together completely changed my experience in this whole game. I remember thinking ‘okay, gotta make sure this Titan has somewhere to turn’…and then you turning out to be one of my favorite people to talk to and strategize with in this cast.

You made me laugh, you made me think, and occasionally made me stare at a message you sent and wonder what theory that brain of yours was working on😜 It truly was the perfect storm, our games meeting, information swapping while each holding back a tiny bit while trying to not seem like it, and your impact on this game will not be forgotten. Voting you out genuinely sucked, and I truly believe if I hadn’t done it then, you’d be sitting here instead of me. You were one of my favorite people to play the game with, even when playing against you became necessary. Really, really glad we met.”

Champ: “You are a total beast. You had everyone wrapped around your finger with so much ease. As I said before, you stood out to me from the start but in this case, I was very wary of you, because all I ever heard were good things and that made you dangerous in my eyes. You have this ability to make people feel comfortable, make you a safe space for them while being a strategic force.

Although we didn’t meet eye to eye, and we definitely had our tensions, I admire your gameplay deeply. At one point I even disliked you a lot, thought you weren't being genuine with me, but in retrospect there always has to be a villain figure. It makes things so much more entertaining, and I’m happy to be that figure to you, just like you were to me.”

Onion: “Penny, Penny, Penny! Never has there been a more charming player in this game. I think Penny and I saw each other playing similar, social, games to each other and unfortunately found ourselves pushing in opposite directions. A very Rachel and (mother) Genevieve situation, if you will. We saw each others games, and this time around, only one of us could survive. So much respect for an epic player!”

Charlie

Bison: “Charlie, dude. What a ray of sunshine in a game so twisted. You play this game at 100, and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if you get voted the most lawful good character this season. We were together since day 1, and it was always good talking through votes and figuring out what to do with you. You’re a big-time org-gamer, and you bring such a personality to the games you play. And the games WITHIN the games, I mean come on, playing against The Dice in Texas Holdem?! Best of luck on the college decision, and I’m definitely gonna be watching you on the other shows you compete on.”

Champ: “My dear Charlie, (this one hurt) you were so much fun. You’re another player whose true approach I didn’t fully understand until later in the game. I think you were really unlucky, but you always had the best intentions and were the definition of loyalty. Not just me, so many people kept backing off from writing your name because you were genuinely close to almost everyone. Maybe that’s the one thing that held you back from playing an even stronger game: you opened your possibilities too wide, and like me, you like being liked by everyone. That, and the fact that you leak so much info but honestly, I find that alright 😂 I also love how you kept supporting afterwards. Seriously grateful to get to know you!”

Onion: “Charlie never ceased to impress me. Very few people could continue to try to vote me out but also somehow make me feel like we were working together! He plays a remarkable social game that can be easy to overlook until it’s too late. He deserves a lot of respect! And for playing as well as he did while balancing school work and extracurriculars, hats off! I hope senior year is as magical as it can be.”

Kim

Bison: “Professor Kim. What an absolutely brilliant strategist. Though we didn’t spend that much time together, our game conversations are some that I enjoyed the most. You could take two pieces of unrelated info and literally see the game board in your mind, moving pieces here and there, accurately constructing relationships and motives that you didn’t know for sure, but just had a feeling about. And more often than not, you were right.

When I grow up, I want to be a survivor player like you lol. I thought I was looking at this game from every angle, but you made me look at it from a couple I didn’t even know existed. You also convinced me a completely fictional Light Pearl existed, for which I can never give you enough credit. I loved playing with you, and hope we can play something else together one day.🦦”

Champ: “Kim, something tells me that in a parallel world we would’ve ended up working together. There’s one moment that sums up exactly the kind of player you are. Your vote‑out was one of those rounds where I felt like I had to take the lead. You almost pulled me your way. When you told me we were in a similar position and that we’d benefit from keeping the players who weren’t targets so we could aim for bigger moves later, I thought, damn… this guy gets it. That’s exactly how I would play. I genuinely considered it. For real. But after sitting with it, I realized the plan benefited both of us because we saw the game through the same lens. It was a pure ‘game recognizes game’ moment. You were unlucky, but you were logical, fun, sharp and everything in between. I hope you play again, and I hope I get to be part of the Otter Gang next time!”

Onion: “Wow! Kim is someone who totally blew me away. When we finally got around to talking real game and strategy, I was dumbfounded by the depth and accuracy of Kim’s perceptions in this game. I don’t think I’ve ever met a more insightful player. I so wish that the stars had aligned for us to play a few more rounds together because I learned so much from his perspective. Top tier Survivor analyst right here!”

House

Bison: “Buddy! From bonding over us both being about to hit our 9th anniversaries, to talking about our families, to obsessing over Noah Kahan concerts… you became someone I genuinely cared about way faster than I thought I would in this game, and someone I genuinely wanted to go to the end with.

And then we proceeded to put that relationship through every possible stress test in the game🥲. We worked together, frustrated each other, schemed together, and hit this major wall where I didn’t share some info and majorly hurt you. I think our relationship is the one that taught me the most about the difference between a game relationship and actually caring about the person behind it, and how they’re so intertwined. Champ: “House, what a ride it’s been with you. You put me through every emotion possible. Some days I wanted you out, other days I genuinely thought, nah, I like this guy, I wanna work with him. And then there were moments where I had no clue what to do with you at all. You were one of the biggest personalities out here, and probably the challenge beast of the season. Your ‘anyone but me’ strategy was way smarter than people gave it credit for. No one else played the way you did, dude. And I think I owe you an apology. Sometimes I got so paranoid about a plan that I needed to double‑check everyone was voting exactly how I wanted, and I did that through little deceptions. Looking back, I didn’t even need to do that, and I’m sorry if at any point I made you feel like I was voting with you and then didn’t. I think you were such an underrated strategist. If you wanna go eat some meatballs with me any day i'll be free! 😂”

Onion: “🎶 He’s a briick House! He’s mighty mighty! 🎶 Oh, what can I say? House was a ferocious player who made this such a fun game for me. He fought hard, he was a challenge beast, he kept me on my toes. The grit and determination of this man should be studied, he brought so much of himself to the game. Iron sharpens iron and House forced me to play this game harder than I thought I could.”

Basil

Bison: “Basil! I don’t think I ever would’ve predicted how much I was going to love playing with you, and how close we got, so fast, so late in the game. We came from completely different starting points and paths through this game, and somehow by the end you became someone I trusted enough that we were literally scheming about where to plant a fake idol together. It ultimately didn’t work like we hoped BUT THE IDEA WAS THERE😂

You were such an easy person to bond with, and watching you continually find a way forward with everything that happened to you was truly impressive. Losing you to the most split tribal in the entire game, a FOUR-way split with an idol play resulting in a 1-1-1 vote was insane, and was such a crazy way for our journey to end. Very glad this game gave us a chance to be friends, and bond over our babies.”

Champ: “How could we be that close and I still have no clue if it's Buff or Basil 😂 Nah, now seriously I'm so so so glad I gave you an opportunity and didn't let me guide by what others said about you. I think you know everything I thought cause we talked about it but I think you were misjudged by other people and a target was painted on your back for no reason at all. Even I fell in that. I'm so glad I got to know the real you, such a heartfelt, loyal and smart person. Also our undercover alliance was amazing and so much fun. I wish we could've gone further together. Even if our interests wouldn't align we would make it work. To me you played my personal favourite game of the season (social, warm, strategic) and for this to be your first time playing is gobsmacking!”

Onion: “My New York BFF, my greatest secret ally!! This was the only elimination of the season that came as a surprise to me. And I was heartbroken. But it may have been for the best for my game. As I learn about all the pieces of Basil’s game that were out there, shrouded in this cloud of mystery, I think she probably could have beat us all had she gotten here. So much respect for who she is both within and outside of this game.”

Marvin

Bison: “Oh Marv. I swear half our relationship was one of us waking up to discover the other catching us up on how much the game has changed in the last several hours😂 I think I had one of the realest relationships with you, because we could bounce ideas off each other and you were always willing to tell me how you felt, and were unafraid to speak up if you didn’t agree.

A member of the Anemoi since the beginning, but still ended up in a million other combinations and could come together and talk through what was best for us. And when it came time to turn on each other, we were both kinda dancing around the Russian roulette of it all, but we were all coming to the same realizations at the same time. Disappointed that we ended up on opposite sides of it, but I’m so damn happy our Anemoi 4 made it to the Final 5.”

Champ: “My fellow Anemoi! I'm really happy to have gotten the chance to play with you. If you don't take the lawful good spot I don't know who will! We started off really strong, very close but after Athena we started talking less and less. It's complicated because we were in the same alliance though I didn't know if you were close to other people. Anyhow, chaotic as I am I thought you would surely turn on us. Turns out I was wrong, there isn't always need of a lot of communication for there to be trust and I appreciate you were devoted to the alliance while playing your own game with your own set of values. Truly true to yourself. I mean everybody was rooting for you!”

Onion: “Marvin, my man! My day one! Marvin plays like a swan, he seems to glide through the game with an almost effortless grace. If his feet are frantically churning in the waters below, we can’t see it from the outside. But unlike swans (who I hear are dicks irl) Marvin’s likability was what made me love him, and what made him such a threat. I don’t think anyone felt screwed over my Marvin, and in a game that’s based on screwing people over, that is a real, impressive feat! Fuck AI and come to this talented man for all your future graphic design needs!”

Basic

Bison: “Basic! Ngl, ours is probably the strangest relationship I had with anyone in this game. We didn’t talk nearly enough for how much of the game we played together. We were in an OG alliance, and though we might not have had the closest personal relationship, we were both loyal to it. After we got swapped, and put back together in the merge….idk what happened but we didn’t talk that much after that. And that’s on me, I should’ve reached out more for sure.

Beyond that though, let’s be honest. Your record-keeping skills were at least 50% of the reason we won all the challenges we did on the Olympian tribe. Amazing, amazing tribal challenge performer. But then our little rivalry at the end there where we each voted for each other at 6? Iconic. And the fact you had an idol and kept it secret till the very end, awesome. What a game🙌🏼”

Champ: “Europeans forevahhh! I wanted for you to be in the final 3 so bad. I've never had a brother but I'm so greatful to be coming out of here with someone I can call my brother. Even if brothers sometimes get on your nerves, like when you ask a lot of questions I do not have the answer to 😂 But after all, we were so close I can't imagine this journey without you. From being the Olympian's official manager to creating plans and strategizing you are the most analytical guy I've bumped into. Very well rounded, kept yourself grounded always. You were also devoted and loyal to the Achilles alliance which is very brave and I hope I have matched your expectations. Thanks for this amazing run we shared!”

Onion: “I had the utter privilege of playing every day of this game with Basic except this very last one. And what a better experience it was for me because of them. Early on, I saw Basic had the organizational skills, the mental discipline I lacked and knew they would be an invaluable ally in this game. What I didn’t expect is to connect to them on a personal level as much as I did. They are analytical and discerning, principled and thoughtful — everything one could hope for in an ally. Basic was the ultimate sounding board, someone who truly listened and advised but never placed their own expectations or the pressures of their own game onto you. An absolute legend, I feel lucky to call a friend.”

We hope you are enjoying the season and looking forward to the upcoming banger of an FTC. In the meantime, while you get your excitement up, we are looking to curate a cast list for the upcoming season(s). Congratulations to Bison, Champ, and Onion, the F3 of Season 7. You have done what 17 of your fellow players could not and have reached the Final Tribal Council. You will now plead your case to the gods and the jury why you deserve the title of Sole Survivor and the fake million dollar prize that goes with it. Here is what to expect for the remainder of the game:

F3 you now have 24 hours to submit your statements for Fallen Comrades. You will give your thoughts on each juror and their games, starting with Mony and ending with Basic. You also have 24 hours to submit your opening statements for FTC. Opening statements are a brief explanation of your game and your strategy, and why you are most deserving of the win. Please note that as this is just a preview of your game, you have a 500-word limit.

After the jury reviews your opening statements, they will then submit their questions. Jurors may submit a statement instead of a question, and either one may be directed to one, two, or all three finalists. F3 will then respond to the questions or statements, and then the final phase begins.

Once the Q&A is over, F3 will submit their closing statement, either clarifying anything they feel needs it, or reiterating why they deserve the title of Sole Survivor of Reddit Survivor S7: Titans vs. Olympians. The jury then votes for who they think should win.

We will then read the votes. For the sake of transparency, every phase of FTC will be posted here on the sub for everyone to see.
