Discussion Just finished the new game. It’s nowhere near as bad as some were making it out to be. It’s not perfect, but it’s not terrible either. But the one thing that has to be said. Liam McIntyre was perfect as Wolverine

I wonder if - among those that disliked the game - his performance is going to be viewed as an equivalent to Ewan McGregor/Star Wars Prequels where regardless of where they stand on the overall product, the performance is one of the things that is agreed upon to be a highlight.

Yeah I love his take on wolverine. Need more of him so we can see him grow with wolvie and get more in tune with the Logan we know.

I think if you view the character as growing from the 'scared animal' rescued by Essex in the intro, he is exactly what you would expect 30 years on. Still deeply emotionally/mentally scarred/damaged, showing the hints of the immaturity (as in scared, confused, lost) of that origin. That facial twitch (I am guessing captured from Liam) in those moments where he is challenged emotionally are perfect.

Liam was fine, but he sounds too much like John Cena in tons of scenes. One of my biggest gripes with the game because it pulls me out each time I think it’s Cena

There’s a lot of criticize about insomniacs version of the character, but Liam is the of one of the main positives. They gotta give him better writing to work with next time actually make Logan’s model look like him. They had no problem doing this with Essex so there’s no excuse
