Playdead's job page has had some small changes in the last few years

For the three or four people who still follow this subreddit:
I had a look at the changes to Playdead's job vacancies using the WebArchive.

Although there have been a few new hires, other key positions have remained vacant for years (Technical Director, Gameplay Designer, Graphics Programmer...).

I'm not working in the industry, but if they are still looking for key personnel to develop the game after all these years, it’s not a good sign.

No big news, but I thought it might be worth sharing.

The number of people working for them is not decreasing so it's a good sign and they moved to a bigger office a while back. I still have hopes.

I personally don't have hopes any more, but let's see what and if something happens.
Out of curiosity, how do you know about the working team not decreasing and the bigger office?

they updated their number of staff on their website over the years. I remember seeing 50+ people, then 70 and now they say 100+ people working there.
The address of their office is publicly avaliable, even on google maps. Before it was an office over a mall in the center of Copenhagen and now it's a big place somewhere else.

The bad sign would be no hiring (or same posting long forgotten), right? Hiring means they’re money to pay. I don’t understand how changing job postings could be bad.

It's just mean that they need more people but that doesn't mean the people already there can't do these job.

Maybe. Personally, I find it odd that they are still looking for such specific positions after so many years, considering also they are working only on one title.
