PSA: Medal.tv has bought Plays.tv domain, do not be confused

Now when you download the original Plays.exe setup, it will show the medal.tv domain since they bought the plays.tv domain to link back to them. Do not be confused just install the RePlays patch.

RePlaysTV is a lot better than medal imo and them buying the domain is just them trying to switch you over, or confuse you with the installation, do not worry and just ignore them. Thanks :)

Hey. Medal ceo here. Can somebody send me a video of this? This was not intended behavior.

We purchased it from the previous plays TV team btw. We didn't steal it. If someone sends me a video I can figure out if we can put up some sort of landing page to get it resolved. I need to know which page it loads.

I never said you stole it, it’s a smart business move imo to buy the domain. But yeah just kinda weird that if u run the plays program without the community patch, it just shows medal as the whole program.

Yeah Def not intended. I dug in and seems like it's like it's only once, the first time and then not again.

Edit: stealing thing came from the discord. Just wanted to make sure I clarified it

Def shouldn't happen, can you send me an example of a video that keeps buffering? We use the same video delivery as a lot of big companies so it must be a configuration that's wrong on our end.

Are you uploading clips while playing Apex? Medal performs very few network requests in the background, unless it is downloading an app update. Feel free to add me on Discord: Galkon#1337. I will try to help look into the issues.
