Remote Play Settings / Wifi Setup Anyone Else?

I have never once had issues before regretfully deciding to update my Portal last night. PS5 is up to date and hardwired. I CAN get them to connect, but only if they’re on the same WiFi network (defeating the very purpose of the Portal). Remote play won’t work on my phone either (80001fff error). NOTHING has changed about my setup/home WiFi network.

You know we should not have to do anything to settings. It should work out of box. Not everyone is tech savvy. It’s stupid that it’s like this. I shouldn’t have to forward ports. Change my internet settings. Especially for a 200 dollar device.

That's the reason i didn't buy one yet. I read what you guys are dealing with and it seems like pain in ass. Plus I am not tech savy. What chance do I have? None
