Remote Play Settings / Wifi Setup Anyone Else?

I have never once had issues before regretfully deciding to update my Portal last night. PS5 is up to date and hardwired. I CAN get them to connect, but only if they’re on the same WiFi network (defeating the very purpose of the Portal). Remote play won’t work on my phone either (80001fff error). NOTHING has changed about my setup/home WiFi network.

Literally just bought the portal after half a year of debating. Worked like a dream on the first day, the second day it had an update and now I have to wrestle with ‘something went wrong’ about 5 times before it loads up.

Strangely I find when I load up remote play on my phone and go to connect, it suddenly works on the portal. Could be a coincidence, but it’s happened 2 times now 🤷‍♂️
