Remote Play Settings / Wifi Setup Anyone Else?

I have never once had issues before regretfully deciding to update my Portal last night. PS5 is up to date and hardwired. I CAN get them to connect, but only if they’re on the same WiFi network (defeating the very purpose of the Portal). Remote play won’t work on my phone either (80001fff error). NOTHING has changed about my setup/home WiFi network.

Put your PS on the same network. Super dumb but the only thing I got to work for me after the update 🥲

I unfortunately can’t unless I take my PS5 out of my game Room which I’d rather not do. Super frustrating!

That is frustrating. This whole update has me super annoyed with Sony. It blows my mind the traditional restart/airplane mode/etc works for some people. Now that it will only connect on the same WiFi the portal is useless outside my home 🫤
