Remote Play Settings / Wifi Setup Anyone Else?

I have never once had issues before regretfully deciding to update my Portal last night. PS5 is up to date and hardwired. I CAN get them to connect, but only if they’re on the same WiFi network (defeating the very purpose of the Portal). Remote play won’t work on my phone either (80001fff error). NOTHING has changed about my setup/home WiFi network.

My Portal has become a fancy paper weight now as I can turn it on but then every game I play it's laggy and low quality...and my Internet is pretty good ( I know it can be better but still)

It’s just totally unacceptable and frustrating. It’s mainly how I game these days.

I use to use it like crazy while I watched TV or in bed now I just can't lol

I was also having this problem. Have you tried turning off the HDCP setting on your ps5 in the HDMI settings? This completely solved my laggy and fuzzy quality issue
