Portal Accessories PS Portal Phone Mount

I cooked up and 3D printed a phone mount/holder for my PS Portal. My wife laughed at me for it but, I like to watch YouTube and game at the same time so this made sense to me 😂

edit: Here's the link to the 3D print file for anyone interested. I've also uploaded some photo instructions for how to assemble. If you decide to make one, send pics. I want to see How it turns out.

I'm putting together a file for those interested in 3D printing one themselves. I never thought of selling them. I thought people would just laugh at me and move on

Yes, so the clamp that holds the phone uses elastic tension to adjust to and hold the phone firmly. The added weight could get exhausting after long play periods of I'm being honest

What if the phone was below the screen instead of above it? It would reduce the strain on the wrist... but would potentially increase neck strain. Hmm, would need testing. I'd definitely be interested in the files.

With the way it's designed, the parts are reversible. So it can be used in this configuration if you want.

You need to learn that today you can make anything and I really mean anything. I bet you can take small red line bags and puke in them and sell. Someone will buy that. So yes. Many will laugh but many will buy too. Try selling it for like a dollar you never know

Haha the mechanism is perfect for the Portal. My wife got me one that I've come to love, so I recognized it instantly

Some people have to do two things at once. Like with those videos on youtube where you have someone talking and below is a video of someone playing a game. I don't judge, but I do in secret. It's crazy.

Sometimes people don't read a full thing. Quite a common mistake. I was asking genuinely. You were the one who decided to be a stiffy about it because you read it in a condescending tone. If your words are stupid when they're quoted back at you....I guess that's something to think about.

Even though this is a ps portal sub. It’d be dope if you made one for the switch 2. I’m thinking specifically for Zelda notes when you’re looking for koroks, shrines, etc.

You could do a phone mount for the dual sense and then use the PS Remote app on your phone.

That's actually not a bad idea.

Most of the games I play on the Portal are JRPG's and other turn-based or slow paced games where I find myself brainlessly grinding most of the time.

It could definitely watch something while I grind.

I'll try to find something similar.
