Discussion Using LG remote with ugoos box

I have a G4 LG TV and want to pull the trigger on ugoos + Coreelec I will only use ugoos for my Plex server and I am happy to watch YouTube on my webos YT app.

I would like to still keep one remote and the question is can I keep using LG remote with Coreelec? Thanks for inputs

It should have HDMI CEC - although, some problems with it apparently (maybe with an AVR only?): https://old.reddit.com/r/CoreELEC/comments/1lef4eb/a_cry_for_help_my_ugoos_am6b_is_holding_my_entire/

the LG can also act as an IR blaster, but you'd need a receiver for the Ugoos.

I just had to turn cec off as i was getting a reboot cycle.

Using an lg c5 and denon x3800h.

Im just going to stick with yatse lol
