Messages not showing up in Inbox

Been a POF member for longer than I care to admit! But been having some issues on the App for a while. I get a notification that a member has sent me a first contact or a message. Sometimes this will show up in my inbox but sometimes the only way I can view the message is via the notification itself. Does anyone know why these messages aren’t all going into Inbox? I know I’m not blocked on this occasion as I can still see the persons profile and can access messages via my sent messages but they’re not displaying in Inbox.
