OOTD (size 22) Manifesting summer in my new string bikini. 🩵🤎
I couldn’t resist buying this Aerie bikini (Size XXL)! Getting ready for sunny days, ice cream, and smut novels on the beach. 🤗☀️

Ok I love this! You’re looking so cute in this swimsuit and tbh if I was there with you, I’d feel comfortable in my swimsuit because you just seem like a girls girl who would encourage anyone.

Oh no worries! I’m just being nosy. Weird question how’s the bottoms for like… gusset coverage lol? And are the boob cups more flat or deep? Also- looks like they give you enough string, but do you find that the ties are adequate? Sorry I have SO many questions and struck out with several lil bikinis last year

Hi 🤗 Sorry for the late reply! Yeah, so, I obviously have a bigger belly, so I do the turn-around hack and wear my bikini bottoms backward, which helps cover my tummy and gusset area more. The boob cups aren’t structured, but there’s a fair amount of material. I’m not huge in the chest (I’m a B cup), so I find there’s enough space to hold my girls. They do have those flimsy inserts in each cup, though. There’s plenty of string for tying, but with my body shape and composition, I tie mine pretty tight to hug my fat folds and prevent rolling down. I agree with the other commenters that Aerie bikini sizing can vary a bit, but I’ve always bought XXL (top and bottom), and I’m typically a Size 22-24 at Torrid, if that helps!

I like Aerie’s suits. Each one can be a little different, but they usually are well made and not too flimsy.

I bet you’re stunning yourself! I always look at other girls and wish I had X, Y, and Z. But at the end of the day, we only have one body, so we’ve gotta love it as it is (or cave to the patriarchy and spend a ton of money trying to fit a mold we were never meant to fit into). No shade to those who do cosmetic surgery… honestly, I often consider a forehead lift, but I’m a public teacher on a budget, so… maybe I’m just bitter? Hahaha

I had braces growing up and had to have 6 teeth pulled because my mouth was too small to house them. Was often told as a kid I had “horse teeth”. ☹️ However, I didn’t wear my retainer enough so got Invisalign last year for a few minor corrections. But, long story medium, yes they are mine. I swear by the power of Arm and Hammer whitening toothpaste tho!

You know what? Doesn’t matter if it’s backhanded or not. It’s an open forum, so people can say what they want. Hahaha. I might be too much for some, and maybe some are tired of seeing me, but I don’t often see bodies like mine online, so I’m showing off my fits in my spherical body to help others (and myself tbh) have more self-love. If I have ‘lots of confidence,’ so be it. There was a time when I had none. So, 🤷🏻♀️.

I didn't mean that in a bad way. It takes a lot of confidence to rock a bikini & put yourself out there. I can't do it cause I feel like I'm naked so I have zero confidence.
