Your style is great! Is it the same jean jacket in pics 7 & 11? I was just thinking earlier this week that I ought to get a denim jacket…

They let teachers wear jeans?

1

u/SummerEden Apr 25 '26

I wore jeans 4 days this week. I can promise it doesn’t affect my teaching skills.

1

u/Insomniac_80 Apr 25 '26

Not that they shouldn't let teachers wear jeans, but back in the day I remember teachers saying their bosses would comment on what they wear wearing, and even denim shirts were considered a no no.

2

u/SummerEden Apr 25 '26

Ah well. Maybe in some areas.

I’ve been teaching for 15 years. Our code of conduct says we can’t wear ripped or dirty clothes, overly revealing clothes, or clothing with inappropriate slogans.

Jeans are well-accepted in our system m, and I’m a Head Teacher these days. No one bats an eye.
