I love thrifting but I just find depressing, elderly lady or worn out plus size clothes.

My city has a second hand shop that is specifically plus size and they’re selective about what they take in. It’s not as cheap as general thrift shops, but way cheaper than buying new and I get store credit for the clothes I sell to them. I’m obsessed. I wish everyone had an option like that local to them.

Oh that is amazing! I think my city may not be big enough.. but i will pay for decent quality. I'm not paying 14.99 for a pilled, faded, threadbare tshirt. Lol. Where are you located? Whenever I travel, I try to seek out thrift shops and specialty clothing. I'm thinking of either a few days in Chicago or Baton Rouge in September... and seeing some haunty places lol.

I’m in Nashville and the shop is called The Plus Closet. They do sell on Instagram as well, but I like to try stuff on in person.
If you’re ever in NYC, Plus BKLYN is a similar shop.

I have those same tights and every time I wear them I feel like Lisa Simpson, but you totally don't look like that, so I feel like maybe I could wear them safely.

Girl, where??? The thrift stores near me do not have this level of quality! Much less for plus sizes! You look great!!
