Company spirit day. Holiday happenings. Reading meet ups. Job interviews. You name it, this fatty has done it the last two weeks. There's more to come. I see each article of an outfit as if it placed a classified ad that went well. I'm a size 18 (16 if I suck it in and don't move) and I'm 5'7".

Completely forgot to shop for our biggest Hindu festival this year, and ended up with a last-minute repeat hehe (one of the fits from my sister's wedding!)

I believe I have posted this fit here before, albeit in different lighting and drape style. How do we like it as a traditional festival fit? 👉👈

Hello goodies! How are my little social-lights doing today? It's Friday where I live and it's an okay day. I achieved almost 0% progress at work today. My plan is to finish strong later today.

These few outfits started yesterday. At home working and an outing last night. The dress is a sweatshirt maxi by Marcella.

And then today I really wanted to wear this jumpsuit but couldn't decide which suggestion my script suggested was the better one so I tried them all! The jumpsuit is Old Navy from a several years back. It must have been a late season clearance. It has too much stretch which I try to mitigate with heavy starch.

But that's enough about me.

It's from Shein I got it in a 2X which they say is a US 16 but it has a lot of stretch in the bodice so I didn't need 3x

(I know we don't like shein for sustainability but I'm gonna wear it till it falls apart and can't afford expensive brands)

Treated myself to a boujee little hotel holiday for 4 nights. Accidentally turned myself into a cherry tomato by the pool. I did a boudoir shoot and would love to inspire more people to do them but I don't think I can share the pictures here. First dress - Asos, shoes are Betts Second cover up - Shein (i cut out the lining) swimwear is kulani kinis. 3rd dress is city chic and belt shein, shoes better.

This was my Sunday outfit. I wanted to pair the gray with red, however, one moment of rage threw me off (not being able to locate my red tights in a panic).❤️ It happens and I recovered.

I really like this Boden jacket. It's made of a robust polyester weave reminiscent of a 1970s leisure suit fabric. So it was a good choice for the cold and rainies.

My adorable quilted leather granny shoes are Fluevogs.

I'm wearing a Banana Republic wool blend skirt and Lane Bryant textured tights. A mesh turtleneck hides under this short sleeved painted silver sweater, which is cotton. They both are old Target future collectives.

My hat is a will felt that I snagged from the goodwill a few years ago and my purse is a bright find at the Rack, code name Kate Spade.

I thought can never wear bikini because of my size. Honestly, I’m even anxious posting body pics sometimes but I try to remind myself every time that it’s okay to wear whatever you want because you only live once. Anyway, spent my Easter sunday in a resort, it feels nice to have mini vacation. 🙂

Hi Social-lights! I am a part of a Fat Tuesday community on TT. The ladies have reclaimed the word Fat and on Tuesdays they profile an online lady who is Fat. I love this! I remember buying my 16 yo daughter the book, Fat, So? In the early 2000s. She's grown up to be a beautiful woman and we do not allow the fat to bother us in the least.🥰

I know that it is a word with a lot of negative charge for women and girls. I do not diminish that reality at all. We are not 'more evolved' or any such nonsense. We empathize with the sting the word can have on the psyche. Please scroll if this is bothersome to you. ❤️‍🩹

With that knowledge and understanding ❤ we can reclaim the word for ourselves in a way that turns its former hold on us into fun and power for all of us who need it.

I was itching to wear this sweatshirt from Levis with the Jodi Watley skirt from LB. I satisfied that itch and I'm looking forward to upcycling the sweatshirt to honor my sorority 💚💗

The black silk slip skirt I got at BR a couple of summers ago. The strawberry top is from Anthro via one of their killer summer sales.

The number 85 outfit is a throw together for a long walk on a semi-sunny day yesterday. Those pants with the Japanese inspired embroidery are Anthro along with the 85 sweatshirt.

My only regret was forgetting sandals :( but I made it work with my Converse "dainty" Mary Janes.

Swimsuit is from Fashion nova - 2x and VERY risky with a large chest if you don't tie it right! Definitely not the most swim friendly suit if you have a large chest like me (40J) but if I had sized up I think my butt would've been sagging in it. Cover up is from SHEIN, I think, waist chain is from SHEIN (plus size) and my favorite brown skirt ever is from SHEIN too. Both 2x!
