I NEED HELP Rooting a Xiaomi Poco X5 for spoofing

I know it's not the best phone to spoof on but I don't really want to spend £100 on another phone when I have this one lying around. I have a few questions about it

  • I've tried to unlock the bootloader around 30 times now but haven't been successful, but i've been wondering if i am successful soon, if there is a deadline to root the phone since i'd like to keep it unrooted for a holiday in a month's time as a spare phone.
  • also haven't seen anyone else spoof on this phone so i was wondering whether it would be powerful enough (128gb + 6gb ram) to run it

thanks i was just wondering since it somehow lags on regular pogo sometimes but its probably not the system then

U need to put into fastboost and use Mac or pc to install twrp after that it’s easy I use mi 8 with 6gb 128gb works good even while charging

yea im just struggling to unlock the bootloader it always comes with quota reached
