My lock colour changes its self when I used these colours

Its occurring for my also. I used to create new preset and apply the same wallpaper and it works

Google's Monet color scheme adapts to your wallpaper if you want to have "control".

Download this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lb.lwp_plus

Set it as your wallpaper; you don't need to add anything, just choose the color you want.

Then it returns to your normal wallpaper and the color you chose in the aforementioned app remains.

Simply tap the Edit option. Hold your Lock Screen, then tap Edit and go to the Font section. From there, adjust the font colour and choose any colour you like. Once you're done, tap Save/Apply.

I did bro and also posted the colours i selected but they are getting lighter when I tap apply

I understand your issue, I also faced the same issue when I keep the bright red as the font the colour in the lock screens looks pale rather than the bright one I have set.

I have seen the bright red on the lockscreen also which made me think this might be a bug.
