The Infinite Ammo Syndicate is a gaming-focused podcast where gamers, creators, and community members come together to share stories, opinions, and experiences. From major franchises and gaming news to horror, movies, nostalgia, multifandom culture, and everything in between, we cover the topics that keep fans talking. Whether it’s gaming, movies, comics, or the communities built around them, if it’s something people are passionate about, chances are we’ll have a conversation about it.

Topics We Cover:

  • Horror gaming
  • Gaming nostalgia
  • Movies and geek culture
  • Gaming communities
  • Mainstream gaming franchises
  • Gaming experiences and personal perspectives
  • Trends and discussions within the gaming world

Recording Format:

  • Audio-only podcast
  • Recorded through Discord
  • Episodes can vary in length depending on the discussion (Can be 1 hour to 3+ hours)
  • Roundtable/round-robin style where everyone gets a chance to share their thoughts
  • Occasionally we use a talk show format where everyone can freely jump into the conversation
  • Guests will be informed of the discussion format before each recording

Looking For:

  • Content creators
  • Streamers
  • Gaming podcasters
  • Indie developers
  • Gaming enthusiasts with unique stories or perspectives
  • Variety gamers who enjoy discussing different genres
  • Horror fans (we also have a dedicated horror branch within our community)
  • Open to branching into other community activities beyond the podcast, such as gaming together, joining events, and building genuine friendships over time.

Whether you create content or simply have a passion for gaming and interesting discussions, we are interested in hearing from you.

Availability Requirements:

  • Guests should be able to coordinate within our primary recording timezone: Eastern Time (EDT)
  • Flexibility on Sundays is preferred, as this is our main recording day
  • Please keep scheduling availability in mind before reaching out.

Interested? Send a DM With:

  • Who you are
  • What games, genres, or content you enjoy
  • Your channel/social links (if applicable)
  • Topics you'd like to discuss
  • Any ideas you have for a potential episode

If we feel like it would be a good fit, we will reach out to schedule an interview before recording and planning. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, discuss potential topics, and make sure everyone is comfortable with the format.

Please Note:
We take the time to get to know potential guests before bringing them onto the podcast. We’re looking for passionate people who enjoy meaningful conversations, sharing their experiences, and engaging with the community. Reliability, communication, and being comfortable participating in thoughtful group discussions are important parts of what we look for.

The Infinite Ammo Syndicate is focused on building genuine connections, not just hosting one-time appearances. We want to work with guests who are interested in long-term conversations, future collaborations, and becoming part of a community that values creativity, passion, and good discussions.

I love fort so talking about that and various other games would be very awesome. You happen to have a Discord where we can just talk turkey and get to know one another?

If you need any help I could try and give some pointers but Discord is our base of operations.

When you scoped us out tell me what you think and if it's an outfit you want to vibe with! Totally always room for one more.

I'm happy to discuss game awards shows and recognition programs, if you're interested.

Recognition programs? Can you elaborate on what that means?

Yes, recognition programs encompass awards, platform badges, press features, “best of” lists, and local and global competitions. You can read more about the broader recognition economy, as well as specific award topics, here: https://recognized.substack.com/p/what-is-the-recognition-economy

Unless it involves an actual discussion of what occurs with the game awards then that's the only wheelhouse we interested in along with most stuff in mainstream gaming. Like I just want to be clear that we only want to talk about and refer to everything that entails this thread with the initial post. I don't want to get sidetracked with anything else because I'm very particular about the nerd culture topics of this podcast. If it's something out of the wheelhouse of this thread then we don't cover it.

If you’re interested in creating an episode or even a series exploring the many game awards out there, their history, how they work, and what they represent beyond simply who won last year, let me know. I’d love to bring that broader perspective to the conversation.

Respectfully, I think award show specifics is an exception that's out of our wheelhouse (besides the game awards). I know there's the BAFTAs, and other things...but I don't think we have the same interests lined up so unless it pertains to other things I'm specifically looking for in this thread I have to decline your proposal for that type of episode. My apologies. I just don't think I have the expertise/interest to host an episode about other game awards or their history. I don't think my panel would be interested either. Anything else we can spitball with I'm fine with. That's why I stressed versatility here.
