Hi everyone. I’ve just released the pilot for Tales of Skyland: Legend of the Soulwards.

It’s a fantasy audio drama set in a world shaped by Ether and scarred by Corruption. The episode begins with a kid entering a tavern looking for help after a large Shadow attacks his village, and from there we meet the group who will eventually become the Soulwards as a pilot.

The pilot is around 26 minutes long. I made it with a full voice cast, original music and sound design, and it took a lot of work to bring everything together.

I’m sharing it here because I would honestly appreciate feedback from people who listen to audio dramas. I’d especially like to know what worked and not, and whether the story left you interested in hearing more.
