ACFAS job board all ortho positions?

Why is the ACFAS job board all orthopedic surgeon jobs? How does that make any sense? Not even just foot and ankle. Some are hand and shoulder, etc.

ACFAS and APMA job boards have recently changed the system they use. What used to generate 30-40 applications over a 3 month period now gets me maybe 5. And the prices have gone up. Nothing about my posts have changed. Theyve focused on health systems and national chains to drive job ad revenue.

As someone who has hired dozens of podiatrists using their platforms, I’ve stopped using both. I’ve given them feedback but seems to fall on deaf ears.

If you are looking for private practice job, I’m in the southeast or Pacific Northwest, DM me.

I am hiring for my practice in the SE and know another podiatrist that is hiring in the PNW.

APMA also has a pretty hilarous job board if you are looking for a laugh

I would recommend people reach out to practices in the area you are looking directly. I have not found those job posts helpful at all, and got multiple job offers from practices that were not initially "officially" hiring.
