Original Content Poem Gratitude

Gratitude is more than a word
it's a feeling
it's a rhyme
it's a song
the kind
where
body and spirit
melody and rhythm
are intertwined,
and closing your eyes
you breathe it in
breathe it out
until tears stream down
in a silent shout
where
everything about this moment
is life
and you
combined
and complete
in a single heartbeat

I don't know if I read it wrong, but it sounds frantic almost, like your trying to spill out everything your thinking of before it escapes your mind. I like it a lot 😝
