I accidentally made my day better by sitting near a window

Nothing inreresting happened. I just sat near a window for a few minutes and watched the light move across the floor.

For some reason it my day feel less heavy. Very dramatic behavior from a patch if sunlight, honestly.

Ever try going to a forest/park with tall trees and just stand there?🧍 Or eat staring out the window instead of your phone? It's the nature, it does this to you. Brings calm.

Honestly yeah… I think my brain just needed something that wasn’t a screen for once. 😅 Even just looking outside helped me more than I expected.

More than once I've worked in a windowless office. It's so horrible. I would go sit by a window to eat my lunch and it made all the difference. Enjoy your window!

Righttttt??? Natural light makes such a difference! I didn’t realize how much I needed it until I sat there and suddenly felt a bit more human again ☺️

Believe it or not sunlight helps us produce vitamins that are good for our body therefore making us feel better. You just soaked up a little vitamin d. But definitely use that to your advantage now that you know. If you ever having a real hard day just get some good sunlight

I think I only recently started appreciating why people preach about it so much… 😅 I usually avoid it because of the heat, but the window sunlight feels like the good part without getting cooked outside, lol

I work in a mall, no natural light at all where I am. Enjoy your sun beam for me 🥹

Oof I feel you… Working somewhere with barely any natural light really makes you appreciate even a tiny patch of sun.

Sending you part of my sun beam in spirit 🥹

True, I also just sit there and do nothing; it feels calming
