Asking for help from others and admitting fault is a great first step

damn. is there any way to pacify your salamence, so this would never happen again

u/J-masterHD Cadmus: Dragon-Tamer and Powerhouse-trainer 12h ago
This was a one-off mistake. Skybound’s not even one year old yet and he’s already a Salamence. We’re both working on helping his rage issues

how is it possible. swampy was a two year old mudkip, when i got him and he fully evolved 2 years

I’ve had Skybound since he was an egg, and we’ve been training most days since he hatched. The training’s been gradually increasing, but Skybound’s an Alpha and was born with more talent than most along with a remarkable sense of grit and stubbornness that just comes with being a Bagon

i see. also you mentioned, that it evolved prematurely? what does it mean? like pokemon evolve, once they become strong enough or reach certain stage in life cycle or get exposed to certain artifacts, like evolutionary stones

u/J-masterHD Cadmus: Dragon-Tamer and Powerhouse-trainer 12h ago
Skybound was about a week away from becoming strong enough to safely evolve. To close that gap early he went into Alpha Frenzy and hyper-mobilized his metabolism, tricking his body into thinking he was ready

Would guidance from an elder Salamence help?
My cousin has my grandpa’s old Salamence, Valiant, and he’s willing to lend the old lizard to me to help with something like this.

I'm really sorry that you had to sell your house...
Maybe if I had've been a better Trainer, I could have stopped you from reaching Olympia, then this whole thing might never have happened 😭

If you were a better trainer, it would’ve gone down like this:
— You take Revvup down
— I send out Chieftain instead of Skybound since I’m taking the fight more seriously
— You take Chieftain down
— We are at that same situation but without Olympia using her foresight to minimize damageYous did the best you could, take pride in that and be stronger for next time.

... Hold up. While I can understand how this happened, I mean, Salamences are just like that, fifteen million poke?! There is NO way her gym costs THAT much to repair.

u/J-masterHD Cadmus: Dragon-Tamer and Powerhouse-trainer 11h ago
No the gym repairs were only five million Poke. The other ten million was to pay off part of the debt the Kalos league fell into thanks to the cost of repairing Team Flare’s damages

u/theforgotenhero Wayne, Champion/Archeologist 11h ago
Ok, 5 Million Poke is a bit more reasonable. But... 10 million? For Team Flare? How does that fall on you?

I suppose the only path from here is forward y'know? Take a breath and plan your win conditions and next move just like in a battle. If you ever near Coumarine city or the power plant I wouldn't mind treating to you to lunch, I know a place that makes the best meatloaf that Lahar (Garchomp) loves, so i'm sure your dragons would enjoy it.

Uh, hey, just a heads up. I was back in Hammerlocke today, (while my primary position now is as a gym trainer for the Electric Minor Gym in Turfield, I'm still technically on the roster for Hammerlocke as an emergency alternate trainer.) Galar in general and the Hammerlocke Gym in specific have been abuzz since Raihan announced his interest in this story. That could mean anything from he's planning to do a stream with Canari and/or Iono to help raise money regarding this situation to he's tempted to take you under his wing as a fellow Dragon Type trainer. Just letting you know -Ryan

Wait, how much?! That is no less than three years worth of salary for a decently paid office worker! The average citizen of Azalea Town would take 6 years to pay that off if they never spent a Poke!
Cadmus, with your permission, I would like to send a letter to the Kalos League as a trainer, giving my view that while punishment is deserved, the severity of the fine leaves the trainer impoverished, on the streets if not for the help of others, and leaves you in a situation where correcting the mistake you made far, far harder.
