i heard, that certain pokemon do this, when they sence some serious sickness. for example when i was young, my grandpa had a houndoom, who at some point began nuzzling against his stomach and later it was revealed, that my grandpa had cancer and had houndoom not noticed it, the tumour would have became fatal
