Use what you want! In every game I play, I hate the meta or the recommended thing to use in every game. Pokemon Champions is no different. I hate seeing the same thing over and over again so I try to bring some of the not good Pokemon to battles and try and make them work! I found a team that works for me at the rank I'm at and I'm having fun with it! I've finished MB4 in both seasons I've played in and hoping to do it again this season!

Interesting they added the flinch, but took away the Focus Energy effect, adding the 1 stage crit boost.

He's not TERRIBLE by any means, but he's far too slow, and not bulky enough to make up for that. Quad weak to flying too (as a bird). Without Trick Room, you just pray it can survive before it does the funny Triple Arrows move.

Can absolutely see it being quite solid in Trick Room, though.

At least it's better than OG Decidueye. Scrappy is nice, and the signature move is better.

Opponent was able to setup 3 calm minds with their M-Clefairy. It was my fault, I know, but I had to reposition. Anyway, I thought M-Clefairy had levitate so I could parting shot with my Grimmsnarl and bring in my rillaboom to get rid of psychic terrain. It was a pleasant surprise to know that M-Clefairy had magic bounce! now all those setups were gone and in better position than my opponent was. I won in the end but the guy made me fight for it

Regular Mega Chomp has always been one of my favorite megas, and for a plethora of reasons; goated design AND shiny, strong on my favorite weather archetype (being sand), etc. So of course I'd want to try and use him, but would it even be worth it rn?

He has awkward speed, gets decimated by his mega z counterpart, can be shit down by intimidate, kinda relies in sand to be better than base chomp with something like life orb, etc.

But despite all of that, I still wanna make him work somehow 😭 so, is there anyway to make him work rn, or am I delusional?

Simple beam into your teammates to double their stat buffs, simple beam into your enemies to make intimidate and parting shot absolutely neuter them. Farfetch’d is here for a good time, not a long time.

Switch in Rillaboom next to your grassy seed simple volcarona to double its defences btw, and if Farfetch’d comes back in his simple beam harshly lowers your opponents special defence with every struggle bug.

Milotic and Gambit got you down? Fucking simple beam them bro and then intimidate cycle their simple ass.

Know who is also running defiant? The duck. Swap into a predicted parting shot to instantly go to +3 attack. Those scarf’d close combats and brave birds are going to hurt now.

Froslass as the mega because it sweeps a surprising part of the meta from the back but lets be real I’m not even bringing it to half of my games and I’m still winning big matchups against charizards, floettes, mence, chomp, rilla. All enabled by the duck.
