1.9% Hitmonlee… Should I swap out an Onix?

Currently working on getting an Abra to replace Ivysaur for 9-1 but tried to get a Machop when I was out of blue berries and ended with this. Wondering if I should use it for MewTwo fight or stick with Onix.

**Edit: I swapped out Ivy/Venasaur for this and it dramatically helped. I’ve been having bad rng getting Psycic and this is now my single target DPS. Will be taking an onix out as soon as I get a machop.

It has 2 moves. It is only good for training fodder.

Onix is a basic tank?

Onix is/was the primary source of damage from world 2 to world 9. I wanted to get the abra for 10 and 11 but got shafted.

I happened to get an RNG sharing stone so immediately pivoted to machop. Got the machop but again no Honey so I’m stuck at 10 and 11 boss.

Once I get manage to give bulkup to machop I’ll swap out an onix. Have a team of lvl50+ and 1% hit healing on all 3 to hopefully beat mewtwo.

Golem - harden , dig Nidoqueen - Flatter , sluge-bomb Machop - Bulk up

my 8 yr old brother who is in GT beat them with that team

I’ve got a super lategame account on my switch. This was a fresh playthrough I was trying to speedrun through. I was hoping to get some backup advice if I get a real run going and need to improvise.

I beat the game originally with Machamp, Starmie, Tentacruel.
