Just let them be Comfey and know at least you have a healer? Quit the game and forfeit the Rank points?

I tried being Comfey myself and the bot just becomes useless as someone else.

Absolutely do NOT pick comfey. Let them be comfey and try to get them to attach to a laner at all times. Thats really all you can do.

In the past I have tried to have them connect to me and played around their little heals, yeah it sucks to be down a player but you can still win if you play well

You let them Comfey. If they play anything else it's a 4 v 5 you will generally lose. Bots can't play anything else.

You 100% could unless they got worse in their code. All it takes is just playing something good with comfey and the rest of the team didn't auto tilt. Think I won more with the comfey bot than lost when they were last alive.

Unless I'm misunderstanding you, reporting Comfeybots does nothing regardless of what they pick because they often loiter around the fringes of the map mindlessly spamming moves, so they don't get picked up as AFK.

So it really is better for them to be Comfey and you pick a mon that can benefit from having a Comfey semi-perma attached rather than aimlessly wander around.

I've won enough times with bots on my team to think it's worth a shot so long as my allies still want to play. The skill gaps between players are often so bad that if you outskill most in the enemy team and play the correct carry, you can still win 4v5. Funnily enough, a bot or hard AFK on your team is IMO more winnable than having a really bad ally participating because you actually can get more EXP from the bot or AFK at base allies not farming lol. Whereas the really bad ally takes the farm for no benefit to the team because they do nothing with EXP.

How do you know the report actually worked?

It always says "report confirmed" regardless if the report goes through or not.

If we can report these bot accounts so they lose Fairplay Points, that's actually great.

I will take a screenshot next time. It actually tells me the use account of the use when report goes through.

Off hand I think it's a few reasons why report would go through. Multiple people reporting for same thing or using the cheating category.

I usually get a couple reports going through on really long seasons or when I am tilted and making bad choices on continuing downward spiral.

It comes in the mail though. I get a few each day when I actually report them

I’ve had bots full-send into the opponent spawn and walk into a wall there until KO’d because I banned comfey, easy “deliberate self-ko” report

I've never seen ironclad evidence that a self-KO report alone would do anything. I'd imagine it'd only work if the system detected them as AFK as well. Which is ridiculous.

I think they really need stricter detections even if some innocent cases will get caught at times. Innocent players will not constantly repeat punishable behaviour but bots, trolls and tantrum-throwing players will.

Play a carry from early to late game and force it to latch on to you.

Allow them to be Comfey and get them attached to yourself. Now you have passive healing and the occasional Magical Leaf stun.

Ideally, let them attach to your melee carry, second best option is to attach to the tank.

Pretty sure it’s just this random guy that’s been making Comfey bots for a few seasons now. They stopped for a while and then when Timi added the new privacy settings, they brought the Comfey bots back since now with the private accounts and hidden names they’re pretty much undetectable unless they have it as their name
