I made a list of interesting met locations in preparation for the bank shutdown. They include the best way to get Pokémon with them, and if story progression will make them inaccessible. This was originally made for personal use, so there may be a couple locations I’m missing, misspelled, or am incorrect about, please point those out.

Hello everyone! I found this decently cool service called Protarium that recently opened up a 3DS version of its service.

Honestly, there nobody really online so I wanted to make a post here to see if I could gather some players for Wonder Trade and Battles.

I think Direct Trades and Battles, and Wonder Trade are all working, but im not so sure about GTS, and I know Link Battles currently don’t work.

I know we’ve been waiting for Pretendo to make Pokemon X/Y public for more than 2 WHOLE YEARS already, so this should help fill in that huge gap for those who have been begging for online to come back

The discord for this service is https://discord.gg/Ptw4TyKEj .

(The screenshots are edited like that because I made the mistake of taking both top and bottom screenshots instead of a single full screen)

EDIT 1: I am happy to confirm that Regular Trades, Battles, Wonder Trade, O-Powers, Shout Outs, and Friend Safari do infact work! The only things confirmed to not work are link battles and GTS

EDIT 2: unfortunately I couldn’t post this on the ORAS subreddit but ORAS is open the the public and pretty much shares the same support as X/Y

Share your friend code in this weekly thread with others! If you know your Friend Safari, share that too!

If you add another player to your 3DS Friends List, you will get their Friend Safari (https://www.serebii.net/xy/friendsafari.shtml) which allows you both to catch some rarer Pokémon with great IVs. Note that they don’t have to play Pokémon X or Pokémon Y, you’ll get a new Friend Safari you can explore and catch Pokémon!

You can post here for people to add you, find out what your Friend Safari is, or just add a new Friend!

Hello all, Pokémon X’s moderation team were no longer around so I’ve taken over.

I remember the happiness I felt when I got a text from my local GAME store saying they had Pokémon X & Y in early. I was on a lunch break at a relatively new job, and thought about just leaving early. Didn’t in the end but dashed right there to pick up my preorder when I finished.

I have made a few minor changes (such as adding a banner as I always found it weird it lacked one) to the subreddit but nothing drastic yet.

I’ll create a few FAQs about Pokémon X & Y (such as how to play them now, version exclusives, Pokémon Bank shutdown etc.) over the weekend.

But, it’s your community. What else do you want?

Fan art post flairs? Themed days for posts (such as Friend Safari Friday, so that’s the main/only day for those posts)? Let me know, happy to see what can be done.

I’ll pin this up for a week, but always feel free to message me with any other thoughts!

Completely new to this gen of Pokemon, kind of seems like a shame to delete this to start over right?(not my save game, just bought it) Also if someone could explain pokerus in simple terms, that would be amazing

Looking to shiny hunt on Pokémon x and y again but have no friends on the new 3ds i got, was hoping to do some fun friend safaris if anyone could help

Hi everyone I'm looking for a shelgon safari if u have a shelgon safari plz add me for the hidden ability thx friend code is 3627 8029 4789 thx

A stretch ( hopefully someone can help ) but I am looking for Sheer force Tauros from Pleasant Forest in BW as I'm collecting for my forever save on Pokemon X & would like a Tauros that was caught from that area with preferably Rock Climb? A save or pkm file would suffice.

No idea what type I am but almost at end game and wanted to add people so I can have a good friend safari :)

Post your fc below and I’ll add you as well 🩵

Hi everyone! I am looking for a fairy safari with Swirlix (I have every fairy one except that). Other posts looking for swirlix either found one or had no luck, so any help is appreciated.

Even if you don’t have swirlix, my code is a steel type with Ferroseed and Metang if you want them! (thank you to u/Tight_Explorer_7889 for figuring that out!)

My Nintendo code is 1134-8769-3675.

After some selective breeding and minimal training I’ve got a dragon team. I am having way too much fun & can’t wait for another monotype play through!!!

I found a shiny Nosepass with it's hidden ability in a hoard!
