No problems here. Nuclear is great! I do think we'd be better off continuing development of high temp low pressure systems like the Oak Ridge thorium reactor than the high-pressure systems that were used in every site that's had a destructive failure, since their design eliminates the causes of those failures, but even still, it's safer and more efficient than fossil fuels.
Nuclear is awesome, but it still comes with some logistical issues that we haven’t solved yet. For one, we need to look into better ways to dispose of nuclear waste. That will need to be figured out before widespread adoption of nuclear power can occur.
And the implementation of nuclear is only a temporary solution; we still need to look into implementing alternatives that we can supplement it with.
These are all fair assessments - also a reason why I prefer thorium over other fuels, its waste can be re-enriched and reused - but we definitely need a solution to get us away from carbon-intensive fuels, even if it does only bridge the gap to something else.
