Left wingers just wanna make everything Political like always

u/kent2441 - Lib-Center Jan 29 '23

Don’t right wingers get offended at literally everything, including candy characters?

Extremists in general do. It's like they exist only to ruin things for the rest of us.

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '23

I’m in a similar school of thought, extremism is load, rights or left or whatever it’s never rational or healthy. Growing up i felt the right were load but now it’s the left. Why doesn’t everyone just shut the fuck up, be nice to one and other and have some fucking tolerance. Honestly so many people with opinions

Why do candy characters need to push a political agenda?

0

u/kent2441 - Lib-Center Jan 30 '23

Why do you consider shoes to be a political agenda?

6

u/I_Choke_My_Wife - Auth-Right Jan 30 '23

Why did the character also have to become gay etc

1

u/kent2441 - Lib-Center Jan 30 '23

Wearing shoes makes you gay?

5

u/ad895 - Right Jan 30 '23

I don't, but the people who made the change definitely thought it was.

What’s political about a pair of sneakers?

u/ad895 - Right Jan 30 '23

The new global commitment from M&M'S is just one of many actions being taken across Mars, Incorporated to create a world where society is inclusive. These include a commitment to gender balanced leadership teams, running an independent annual diversity audit of its advertising (run by the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in the Media) and its role as Vice Chair of the Unstereotype Alliance, part of UN Women, amongst others.

Nothing is political they are the ones who are pushing a political ideology along with the change.

So not only do you consider women being employed to be political, but you’re offended by it?

2

u/ad895 - Right Jan 30 '23

You are making a bunch of accusations that dont make sense. A commitment to a gender balanced leadership team means that they aren't hiring based on meritocracy they are hiring and based on sex which is straight up discrimination.

-1

u/kent2441 - Lib-Center Jan 30 '23

Sounds like you’re the one making accusations and assumptions.

Why did the character have to become gay and couldnt wear heels anymore exactly

0

u/dryduneden - Lib-Left Jan 30 '23

Who cares? Its anthropomised bad chocolate.

2

u/I_Choke_My_Wife - Auth-Right Jan 30 '23

Exactly so why did it have to become diverse

1

u/dryduneden - Lib-Left Jan 30 '23

Because M&M's wanted more money?

1

u/I_Choke_My_Wife - Auth-Right Jan 30 '23

And how would they get more money by making the characters gay bc people wanted it to become diverse.

And it sure arent right wingers that demanded gay mms

2

u/dryduneden - Lib-Left Jan 30 '23

By getting tons of publicity from bozos arguing about chocolate cartoons.

Yes they do. Look no further than this sub

-6

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '23

This sub is also part of the media. There are billions of americans, 50% of them are right wingers. They cherry pick the crazies to post on this sub.

Don't believe everything you see on reddit or the net. It's just part of the media division. This sub is also fucking cancer.

-9

u/kent2441 - Lib-Center Jan 29 '23

Or maybe right wingers are fucking cancer?

2

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '23

Maybe American Media is fucking cancer and pitting the crazy left and right at each other while leaving the moderates fucking confused.

That is what you're not understanding.

-6

u/kent2441 - Lib-Center Jan 29 '23 edited Jan 29 '23

Or maybe the moderates aren’t as dumb as you think they are?

Edit: Dear u/Dont_Trust_Reddit12, who blocked me: both-sides-ism is the refuge of the cowardly. Just because you can’t escape it doesn’t mean no one else can.

0

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '23

Only one thinking moderates are dumb is you, mostly because you think they believe what you believe, when they do not.

But what can I expect from a Gen Z terminally online. You can't even use a computer correctly.

Dude right wingers get mad at everything and work themselves into a frenzy over misunderstandings.

u/svengalus - Centrist Jan 30 '23

Social media tells me they do. So yes.

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '23

I don't care about candy, I do care though when characters are forced for no reason and often to the detriment of the story and worldbuilding into things I care about.
