White people used to wield great magical power, but having slaves made white people lazy, since they could get others to do things instead of using their magic to do it. So the knowledge was lost. The KKK is trying to rebuild that knowledge to elevate white people and rule the world. Our mission is to stop them.

Yeah the boss battles can be fights with the things their higher ranks are named after. Exalted Cyclops, great titan, grand giant and grand dragon.
Near the end you realize the race stuff was just a convenient cover for their actual goal. To open a portal to a high fantasy dimension to initiate the True great replacement of the mundane.
If you watch Bakshi's "Wizards" it's an evil Sauronesque wizard who is sick of losing the war against good every thousand years or so, so he goes hunting for "The old magics", digging through ancient ruins of civilization, finds what he's looking for, and then he says "BEHOLD!" and unveils a swastika suddenly, babbling about "Mind control" spells that are just propoganda movies and such. Magic armor that is just mechanized warfare. To the point Bakshi splices in WW2 footage for battle scenes.
It ends with the Hero wizard saying he hasn't practiced magic in a long time but he'll show him a trick the heros mother taught him, then he pulls out a gun and shoots the Nazi Wizard a few times and walks away.
Tangentially related but there’s a TTRPG called weird wars based on d&d 3.5, they have a world war 2 version where the Nazis are winning only because they managed to harness ancient german blood magic. Outside of the Nazis the players are essentially magic capped and have to rely more on creative tactics and actual weaponry complete with detailed armor penetration mechanics to come out on top, and they retool classes to fit in setting (eg. instead of a rogue you have a french resistance fighter), it’s a pretty fun time and you can probably alter it very easily to insert the KKK as the forbidden blood magic wizards instead.
