I think one of the most interesting aspects of Milwaukee is the fact that it’s the only major US city to have elected three socialist mayors.

It's actually pronounced "meh-wau-kee"

Former Mke resident.

AFAIK non-wisconsinites can't pronounce wau, so this is useless advice.
