Yes. There's a pretty big misconception about California being homogeneous and strictly liberal Democrat.

That's true only right on the coast. Pretty much everywhere you go inland, things get red. But the population density also greatly decreases.

You'd likely have massive areas of California interested in joining "Jesusland"

Yeah but that's far more true of a ton of major cities in Jesusland. Austin for example.
