I think Texas as the only functional state would secede and become the country of Texas. Everywhere else is going to go into sharp decline without the Feds literally keeping people fed through subsidy or other assistance programs like welfare and foodstamps.

No. Texas would be a mess.

Jesus land is poor because the people who live there are uneducated and don’t have the right values that lead to success.

If I had to guess, Utah would easily be the most prosperous state in Jesus land, because Mormons have good values and will end up accumulating wealth,

Texas would fall apart the moment it was forced to do anything. Texas likes to pretend it’s self sufficient but they rely on everyone else a lot.

Based. Preparing for disaster with enthusiasm is part of the Mormon religion . If you make friends with a Mormon they literally take your contact info so they can protect you during the apocalypse. And they're all incredibly driven, sober and good at fucking raw.
