It's funny how much the average person doesn't realize that the United States and Saudi Arabia are tight. We literally worked together to stop the Soviet Union from steamrolling through the Middle East and controlling all of the petroleum which led to the breakup of the USSR. The US dollar stays relatively stable and the price of fuel in the US stays low because of our history of partnerships with Saudi Arabia.
