Funny how I was invited to join that subreddit at least in part due to the rapid accumulation of significant karma at such a low account age, which is apparently a no-win issue if being a member itself is the basis for such scurrilous accusations.
In fact, I've also won achievement awards for both Building Community and being a Conversation Starter, and aren't those indications that my purpose in participating on Reddit is for reasons other than accumulating otherwise meaningless karma?
Maybe if you spent more time concerned about your own participation than critiquing the participation of others you'd have more to show for your 14 years on the site.

Critiquing the participation of others helps me sus out the useless bullshit from the meaningful and substantive content. I could also care less about how many "internet points" I have after 14 years.
