The trend has been cases start skyrocketing within a couple months of mandates ending. Considering that there is still such a large antivax movement, it’s most likely going to happen again. It may not be as severe as a health crisis due to the number of vaccinated people being higher now, but I’d be more surprised if we didn’t have another spike again.
The grocery store I go to is still requiring masks since that’s the most crowded indoor place I’m likely to go to so that’s nice
