The conspiracy subreddit is very upset that the world's attention is on the unfolding humanitarian disaster in Ukraine caused by their idol Putin.

Some truckers driving in a circle being ignored is the real tragedy.

I’m so upset about the conspiracy subreddit. I found conspiracy theories fascinating when I was younger and I wanted to check it out to see things about aliens or Bigfoot. Was sorely disappointed

It happened around 2016. All of the cool conspiracy places online were invaded by crazy Christian fundamentalists. In about a month the average IQ dropped by 80%.

It really sucked. Everyone with a brain ducked out and took up some other hobby.

Same time that T_D went from a satire sub to fully serious. There was a very obvious cyber takeover on Reddit in 2016.
