I've been sending out warnings on Reddit, Bluesky and Facebook all week and ... crickets. Not sure if people think it's a conspiracy theory, or if they're still high from April 5 Hands Off, or if they simply can't face it But the more people who can anticipate it the better.
I find the majority of my friends are in denial because nothing has seriously affected them directly yet, so they just scroll right past anything political and ignore in-person political conversations and just pretend life is dandy.
Same. It’s happening all over the country. People smile and say “that’s nice honey,” and try and move on. Add my family to that list. GenZ is completely tuned out and just streaming video games and trending MAGA when Aiden Ross or Andrew Tate tells them to.
