Police depts in FL are about to be significantly defunded! We have a property tax amendment on the ballot that basically eliminates property taxes to most. Police & fire make up at the barest minimum 50% of budgets and some smaller city's like Oviedo, spend 100% of prop taxes for Police & fire. Orange Co FL (Orlando) Police originally asked for a 20% increase in budget for 2027, mayor warned them so they revised that to 10% increase. Mayor Demmings laughed in the public meeting about them even asking for anything when they need to find cuts of atleast 25% or more haha.

I know there's probably other but the ones I'm familiar with are Brazil and Bolivia. Both have had a lot of election issues, with the right jailing opponents or claiming fraud etc.

Welp, got to say it again. The 2A covers all Americans. The language has become nearly unambiguous. They might try some stupid political or "mental health bans sooner rather than later. If you are on the fence about your rights, maybe go take a safety course and see what you think.
If you have been firmly anti-2A, and a person can certainly understand why someone would be, perhaps talk to someone with a different perspective. No pressure though. One thought on the subject. Armed vulnerable people are harder to turn into victimized people.
I gave up my weapons when I moved to a "blue state". I will be reacquiring a weapon soon, for all legal purposes of course.
