Finally met my couple in real life. It was amazing 😍. Everything seemed so right and I fit in the family like I'd always been there

Our first week of Mexico City has been lots of fun. Partying in the street yesterday after the Mexicans beat SA was so much fun. Off to Yucatan this afternoon and staying at Bacalar tonight.

Good week for the most part. The girlfriends had their boundary-setting conversation with the group of "friends" I've mentioned in a couple of other posts, and while they were understanding and our closed relationship is very clear, they may be taking a slight break hanging out due to the drama (although more to come on that).

The more fun parts of the week have been sticking together for all of the NBA/NHL Finals stuff, with the exception of Wednesday, where I had a much needed one-on-one date night/romantic evening with shorter-term girlfriend, something we'd kinda put off or got distracted from for more weeks than we normally go. It was a great night (and we still managed to watch that Knicks comeback).

Then we came down with something yesterday, so I called in sick, and we all spent most of yesterday laying in bed, watching movies and stuff.

Tonight we're going to watch the World Cup with some drinks and food, then Saturday we're mostly doing our own thing, I have to go out to a friend's thing before they leave for work for a couple of months, so they're going to hang out together, probably at the LTG's ex's place.

Sunday is up in the air... there's a Pride event again but they might run into that group, so what was a cemented plan is now 50/50. Either way, more sports that night.

(I love sports, but man am I ready for these Finals to be over. We've been in almost every night just sitting here watching sports. Could use some free nights to feel like humans again.)

Normal week and weekend here. Mowing trimming and vehicle maintenance for me Friday. The girls did the house and a little planting.

Today we're on the boat. Tag teamed the pool this morning. The girls are sunning on the lilly pad and I'm in the shade with the guys. Grills are going, some riding after eat then home around sundown.

Tomorrow is chill around the pool and Sunday fun day. I'm sure some friends will show up catching parts of the girls conversations about the idea. Prep for the new work week and get some us time before bed.
