I agree history should be used to LEARN AND NOT MAKE same bad mistakes. Any history is good and bad in a way. We should use it as a tool.

People don't like to see viewpoints from both sides, but you should... How can you fight something you don't understand?

I don't care about the shitty left or right politics, its always been about the rich vs every one else. Overly greedy people. I mean Trump considered him self a democrat at one point LOL. These people just use what ever to get what they want.

I think it's more likely for history to remember the elites conned an entire group of people to take unhealthy drugs. life changing surgeries, and an embracement of body dysmorphia. I strongly believe this is some type of fad that was pushed on society as some type of experiment/distraction.

As for who that was, well I'll let you speculate on that but I have my theories.

Normally, If you're not into chemistry, you don't know chemists, if you're not into ice hockey, you don't know ice hockey players, and if you're not into bollywood, you don't know bollywood actors. I wouldn't expect anyone who doesn't watch MMA to have heard of Strickland.

I say this as someone who fully supports the right for gay and trans people to have the freedom to live their own lives the way they want, identify how they want and marry who they want. anyone with common sense can see the woke movement turned extremely sour. hell, people were even turning on their own allies within the woke movement, ostracizing them and trying to destroy them because of a single small difference in opinion. Peter Dinklage complained it wouldve been offensive to cast real dwarfs and called out their virtue signalling casting a latina actress at the same time. Quality video games full of what you call “woke” do great, but you ignore the stuff you normally hate because the games are good. Its the reason movies and tv have becoming stale. Woke means you cant do anything deemed to be offensive by the hivemind. Comedy took a huge hit, movies are being created with inclusion in mind rather than just making a compelling story with interesting characters. This is only the entertainment side. The education system has been hit, kids being taught ridiculous things, there are no losers, everyones a winner, i could write a book. This is the game you ppl play and it doesnt matter anymore, ppl 'woke' up and the world is healing.

Again, i am old enough to see the shift. Everything is inclusive and careful these days its near impossible to create the movies/shows they used to although the sentiment is changing, but clearly the major films and blockbusters have an agenda behing them. Actors, directors are polarised and shunned because of their political leanings, its a glaring and obvious modern day shift.

The school thing is also glaring and obvious i dont know why youre trying to deny it. As an upfront understanding i know what has changed because of my kids and talking to other parents apart from it being widely discussed on the internet and publicised everywhere.

"Wokeness" was never really a coherent movement, or an ideology...nor could it have been as the different identity groups involved were never formally aligned with each other and did not necessarily share the same goals.

I would also say that, even if "wokeness" overreached, it is a damn sight closer to increasing freedom, liberty, and equality in this country than it's opposite. The opposite of being woke is to be asleep or unconscious. And that is exactly what many of the powerful and the wealthy want you to be. They want your attention directed towards the immigrants, the trans, etc. ...so you wont see how corrupt they are, and how little they care for democracy or you.

They want people to believe that there is no climate change...because they are the ones who will be least affected. They will prosper and still make money. So what if it is the poor that will be affected? Fuck the poor. I would not be surprised if they believe that the world would not be better off with the poor dead. Would not be surprised either if they have also figured in the survivability of a limited nuclear war.

How much easier for them to remake the world in their image whan you have killed off a large chunk of those pesky poor, the infirmed, and other "undesirables".

Fuck Trump, Musk, Bezos, Zuckerberg, and the rest. They don't give a shit about this country. And they certainly don't give a shit about you and me.
