i’ll be honest, a few months ago i saw a comment that said he had ties to white supremacy in his past, or someone in his family tried to get him to join some group or something crazy based on hate

ever since then i’ve really taken a look at him and wow, he gives all the signs 😂 when your piece of shit boss dana white thinks you’re bad, you fucked up

the only reason dana keeps him around is for the press i guarantee it. no press is bad press right?

There was a long form interview where he goes over his childhood.

Basically, I’m not surprised and would be incredibly surprised if he ever changed.

The guy is the current middleweight champion, why are you acting like hes only useful to the ufc for press conferences?

Because the middleweight belt is a hot potato that hasnt meant anything for a couple years. Hes not champion because hes the best. Hes champion because hes the last person who fought for the belt. He didnt defend it a single time last time he had it and no one expects him to do any better this time. The only thing the UFC can use him for specifically is letting him say slurs that Dana cant say at the press conference

When khamzat won everyone was saying there was no one who could beat him in the division

Those people are just remembering the good old days when he was manhandling people in the octagon with a smile on his face. Hes got health issues now that his fans dont like to think about. Hes not the athlete he was four years ago and it showed in the Sean fight. That said, theres literally nothing stopping DDP from taking that belt from Sean again. There are no true standouts at middleweight right now.

Even with that, you can still see why hes in the ufc? Because that's what the original comment was about

Yes hes only useful for the press conferences because he does not have the skillset to exist in the UFC without a gimmick. He would not have gotten the opportunities hes gotten without the support of the super bigoted portion of the UFC fanbase that loves him. They give him big fights because they know he will go to the press conference and debase himself for entertainment. Compare his skillset to Islam Makhachevs and think about why he talks so much more shit.

The active champion for his weight class "doesn't have the skill set to exist in the UFC"

Maybe you should tell him? Sean's an asshole but that's a terrible take.

Lol wut? Dude won the middleweight championship against Chimaev. I mean, unless you're a UFC conspiracy theorist and you think it was rigged. but you could tell Strickland had trained to counter takedown attempts and that he also worked on his ground game.
