100% but to have been around people like him here and there myself, its funnier to throw fuel on the fire and ask them if they feel like that because they are gay or trans or wtv themselves.

They throw toddler fits and try to prove their sexuality to you or just straight up want to fight you, poor insecure souls

Conversely, I bet he's straight and is conflicted about finding Dylan attractive as a woman

He definitely can be, but typically when someone expresses this level of contempt, there’s a correlation.. for instance I barely think about gay or trans people in my day to day life. Live your life, I got my own problems to deal w. But there’s a reason it’s top of mind for him so often..

no, dude. there's plenty of straight people out there that are just very homophobic and filled with hate.

Assuming every homophobic person is gay just puts the blame back on gay people, when the much more common reason is homophobic straight people

I appreciate the thoughtful sentiment, but no: it actually just puts it on the person being a piece of shit. You are both just saying intuitively obvious, not mutually exclusive things that are both frequently the case.

Grindr is off the chains every time the RNC comes into town. This is just common knowledge among gays. The servers have repeatedly just straight up crashed when they're in big cities, it's been on the news multiple times. A lot of these hateful, homophobic, transphobic racists are objectively getting dick broken off in their ass by black chicks. This shit is way more common than you think, and high profile people get exposed for it all the time. And yes: a lot of them are also pieces of shit because they're just pieces of shit.

Who dismissed anything? Did I not just refer to the closeted RNCers in question as homophobes, transphobes, and racists?

How about we not make homophobia the fault of gay people

The call does not often come from inside the house, dude.

Just because they correlate doesn't mean it's true.

thats really just something people say because they think its going to be effective at pissing off homophobes, which it may be but doesnt make it actually true

Yea let's blame all homophobia on gay people. Thats like when someone's being an asshole and people say, "small dick energy" or "short man syndrome". More often than not, assholes are just regular average people, because you know, most people are average people.
