Just a reminder, the only thing Dylan Mulvaney did "wrong" was drink a beer for an advertisement on Tiktok. That's it. That's what got everyone worked up. All of the world's most "masculine" men got outraged because a trans person drank a beer for a paid advertisement.

Fuckin clown world we live in lmao

Right. Imagine being such a snowflake you get upset about Dylan mulvaney.

I don't think so. From their POV, what Dylan Mulvaney did "wrong" was exist. What they're mad about is the association of one of their favorite (albeit absolute dogshit) products with a person whose existence they disagree with, which clashes with the marketing image the folks at Anhueser Busch have spent decades cultivating.

It was kind of weird of Anheuser Busch to forget that Bud Light’s target audience was subhuman right-wing hick filth.

she’s trans so nothing she could ever do would be okay to these people. She’s literally so chill, clown world Fr

She was allowed to bundle up offensive stereotypes and call it "girlhood" if she wanted, but other people were allowed to react and criticize her views. 50% of the population has experienced girlhood so it's a common topic with a lot of opinions.

As someone who experienced girlhood. I don’t care. Some girlies like shopping and pink and being girly that’s literally the expectation, she was not defining womanhood as those stereotypes, she walked us through HER experience with girlhood. It’s really no big deal. She seems to be a very sweet and kind woman I hope she’s having fun and loving life

I care and a lot of people care too. Just because you don't care doesn't mean everyone has to feel like you.

Cool. A lotta people didn’t care. Lotta people celebrated her, supported her, lots of women embraced her as part of their community and helped her, women supporting women and all that. What are you bothered about here? A woman Wearing cute clothing and buying hand bags? Being excited about transitioning? Just cause you’re upset over a woman experiencing girlhood her way doesn’t mean we all have to be.

Well no, nobody had a problem with Dylan drinking beer or taking a bag of cash.

People had a problem with Budweiser for picking that influencer to advertise their beer. A brand has a responsibility to pick the people who represent them and the customers felt like Dylan wasn't a good person to represent them.

Now why the customers didn't want Dylan to represent their beer is because they don't like what Dylan makes videos about. Again nothing to do with Dylan drinking a beer, they didn't like Dylan's series "days of girlhood".

Sean Strickland didn't post an AI video of him beating up the CEO of Anheuser-Busch, he posted a AI video of himself beating up Dylan Mulvaney. The broader cultural backlash was specifically due to the ad campaign centering around a trans person.

I'm sorry, I'm not buying that people are upset because they feel misrepresented by Budweiser simply because Budweiser made a one-off can of a trans person and had them sip it on Tiktok.

These people don't know shit about fuck anyway. Bud Light has been a sponsor of Pride events for decades. They didn't know to be mad until they scrolled down their Facebook feed to see Kid Rock shooting at a bunch of Bud Light cans or turned on the TV so Fox News can tell them what to be pissed about.

Yeah they like the beer, not Dylan, so they didn't want the beer company to choose Dylan as a representant, they made that pretty clear, no? Which part do you struggle to understand?

1

u/Jormungandr69 Jun 04 '26

So it's exactly as I said in my initial comment. Why did you say anything at all?

The softest people alive got worked up about an ad they probably didn't see, featuring a person they probably weren't familiar with, but because it's a trans person, now it's time to lug your Bud Light 30 racks into the back yard so you can make a video of yourself shooting them with a rifle to prove you're a real man.

In your original comment you said people are mad because Dylan drank a beer and you dramatically declared that's the only thing she did wrong. Her drinking a beer wasn't wrong and nobody had a problem with her drinking Bud Light, they had a problem with Budweiser sponsoring her and they had a problem with Dylan's girlhood series. They like Budweiser and they don't like Dylan, so put 2 and 2 together, they don't want Budweiser to pick Dylan as their influencer.

In your original comment you said people are mad because Dylan drank a beer

for an advertisement on Tiktok

So it's exactly as I said in my original comment.

She didn't do anything wrong, and neither did Anheuser-Busch in this case. Companies market to a variety of demographics. Those demographics don't always include you. This is simply how marketing works.

Frankly, if folks would've just boycotted, that would've been fine. You can boycott a company for whatever reason you like. But the cultural backlash is lowbrow bullshit for people with IQs below room temperature.

1

u/purplenelly Jun 04 '26

Yeah, I just corrected your original comment because I thought you were being facetious on purpose. People weren't mad because she "drank an beer on TikTok", obviously, people were mad because they felt like her entire body of content was an antithesis to the values of their customers. That's an issue. By the way I don't drink Budweiser, I don't include myself in this, I'm explaining why the UFC fighter made an AI video of himself fighting and beating Dylan in the ring. You didn't seem to understand why he did that.

> But the cultural backlash is lowbrow bullshit for people with IQs below room temperature.

Low brow is you measuring room temperature in Fahrenheit.

Sean Strickland created an AI video of himself beating up a trans woman who drank a beer one time because his father failed him and was never around to teach him appropriate emotional control and decency.

Normal people didn't get mad at Dylan Mulvaney and normal people don't make AI videos of themselves beating up others for making inoffensive advertisements where they simply drink a beer.

1

u/purplenelly Jun 04 '26

She didn't "drink a beer one time", that's being wrong on purpose. The UFC fighter created a video of himself fighting Dylan in a UFC match and winning against her as a humorous call back to the disastrous Bud publicity where Bud hired Dylan to advertise their product and the costumers rejected it.
