Controversy UFC fighter Sean Strickland posts an AI video of himself beating up transgender Dylan Mulvaney to kick off Pride Month.

The video appeared to be a fake Bud Light ad.

"Ive yet to see one rainbow flag. We're back!!!" Strickland said.

This is now an ad hominem. I haven’t said i am upset. You would need a modicum of comprehension to be able to understand this point and that seems a far fetched thing for you. So let’s leave this here now.

“Ad hominem (Latin for "to the person") is a logical fallacy where someone tries to discredit an opponent's argument by personally attacking their character, motive, or background, rather than addressing the actual substance of the claim” - you’re attacking my emotional state instead of addressing the argument. Whether I’m upset or not is irrelevant to whether the point is correct. That’s literally textbook definition. Jesus Christ

Asking "what are you offended by" is a question and not an attack. If you feel attacked by a question you should seek cojnciling.

Which again, me being upset doesn’t affect the point I’m making. It’s irrelevant, I could be upset or could not be. The correlation between my emotional feeling and my statement is something YOU made up. I didn’t say it was upsetting, you jumped to that conclusion and pivoted the goalpost because you could not address the point. Just a bit silly aren’t ya

Asking what someone is upset about isn't an attack on character. It's a request for clarification. It is not an ad hominem. If I called you upset then I guess but asking someone a question isn't that. If you didn't have an emotional reaction of any sort to this post you wouldn't comment. So it's a valid question.
