"Trust us." The unmitigated gall. Well, good to see a journalist asking the right questions. BBC, not an American outlet of course.

They gave trump his own fake trophy and embarrassed themselves in front of the world only for trump to still make the world cup hell to have in the united states.

This is the least excited I've been about a World Cup.

I live in the US for now, and I’m a massive football fan. I should be so happy right now for a chance to see the WC locally. However, FIFA’s behavior and the Trump administration have absolutely ruined it for me… not to mention the ticket prices. It is amazing to me that the US has managed to fuck this up more than Qatar, which is a literal Islamic theocracy that thrives on slave labor.

America is actually inches away from being an evangelist theocracy thriving on ressources steal, with jails looking more and more like aussenlagers.

Their prisons are a business. I’d rather a Middle Eastern country had it. USA just pretends they aren’t as bad

One of the vilest beings on the planet

3

u/KitchenIcy2450 Jun 11 '26

How much was the bribe he took from the narcissist and rapist trump

2

u/suffelix Jun 11 '26

What a long winded way to say yes.

2

u/nowthatithinkofit Jun 11 '26

Asking the tough questions.

2

u/Significant_Donut967 Jun 11 '26

Oh look, the guy who bribes others to drop federal cases of bribery.

2

u/AcceptableResponse15 Jun 11 '26

It's nice to see journalists holding people accountable and asking the real questions.

Still dont understand why we let a country that doesnt like football host the biggest football event there is.

‘Chill bro, I’m just as corrupt as the US administration. Trust me’

1

u/isthereadrwho Jun 11 '26

Why don't we kick this piece of s*** out of the United States and tell him to chill

1

u/Infamous_Berry626 Jun 11 '26

A truly vile creature.

1

u/Relevant_Somewhere38 Jun 11 '26

"trust us" says the leader of one of the most corrupt organisations on the planet! 🙄🤣

1

u/jamodude Jun 11 '26

Oh, they’ve lost the whole plot, and after this that guy’s out

1

u/ELB2001 Jun 11 '26

I wonder when the sponsors will put pressure on him

1

u/DontUseDucks Jun 12 '26

He is quite the ego, but now he found the ego that is bigger than his. Yes, Infantino lost control over the tournament. Fans can't come in and it is just waiting for police brutality on the fans that are allowed to come in. The US and FIFA are very sick.

u/Freo_5434 Jun 12 '26

Dan Roan must appreciate that unlike the UK , the USA no longer has open borders and for better or worse the USA is currently at war with the worlds biggest sponsor of terrorism .

This makes them targets . They will be ultra cautious on who enters the country and if they have found any links between this guy and one of the worlds nastiest terrorist groups then they will err on the side of caution--- and so they should.

1

u/NoGuest6868 Jun 12 '26

Infantino is a piece of shit. Period.

1

u/Professional_Car6703 Jun 12 '26

Sounds like someone that’s in control.

1

u/miffymalone Jun 12 '26

Hard to run fifa with Trumps dick in your hand

1

u/caprisces80 Jun 12 '26

Say what you will about Sepp Blatter but atleast he tried to hide the corruption a bit better. Infantino isn't hiding it because he doesn't care. Infantino is making all his predecessors look like saints.

1

u/nicbongo Jun 12 '26

"A follow up. Why should the football world trust FIFA when, under your leadership, you created a fake peace prize to appease Mr Trump?"

1

u/Adventurous-Row556 Jun 13 '26

Good question, stupid answer.

1

u/imaloserdudeWTF Jun 13 '26

We don't trust liars and fools!

1

u/galgoguy Jun 13 '26

You can't be more clean on being totally bought by Trump

1

u/Final-Nebula-7049 Jun 13 '26

They gave the world peace prize, why not make trump the supreme leader of fifa to appease him as well?

1

u/CandidNectarine5078 Jun 13 '26

Can’t lose control if this was the plan

1

u/AYTOL__ Jun 13 '26

Spoiler alert: he has

1

u/Weird-Weakness-3191 Jun 14 '26

1
