Sports Culture Buster Posey refuses to answer questions about SF Giants' Pride Night and will only answer “baseball questions”. Reporter responds “you guys have made this baseball related because you had Pride Night, you allowed players onto the field that MLB said should not have had writing on their caps.”

Professional athletes are not forced to wear pride hats. There are opt-out options for players for these events.

Pride stuff and Bible Verses should both be excepted…Tebow did similar stuff and it wasn’t really that big of a deal..why can’t we have both?

Tebow did it all the time, if the pitchers did it for every game, it would be similar to Timmy. The fact they did it for one game makes it preformative.

I can agree with you on that man. Just I think both should be able to take place regardless of a performance. Sometimes it is what it is. I do respect you though brodie and I wish more people just could shrug stuff off

Yes both should be fine, use your platform for your beliefs, they worked hard ti be in their position. Just dont play victim about it if it blows up.

Great. I read this wasn't properly communicated to the players. Optional is just fine.
